Kindle Unlimited is a controversial programme. Some people love it, others hate it. Some authors make a ton of money from it, others make very little. But, regardless of all that, and regardless of what I think about it all, I want to be fair to all my readers and give them as many opportunities as possible to read my books. So what I’m going to start doing is putting my self-published books into Kindle Unlimited for one 90-day period to give subscribers a chance to read them. If page reads are off the scale, I may leave them in for another 90-day period, but all I can do is wait and see in that regard. I don’t intend to put my books into KU indefinitely, though, because that’s then being unfair to my Nook, iBooks, Kobo, etc, readers. What I’m trying to do is be fair all round.
