EXCERPT:

A hand fondled her neck and Fay jumped.

She turned to see who was touching her and nearly fell out of her seat when she saw it was King.

“I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to startle you.”

Oh, you can startle me anytime!

“I saw you sitting here by yourself. No one should be on their own at Christmas. Can I get you a drink?”

For a few moments, Fay couldn’t talk—just stared—unable to believe her ears. Was the most beautiful, and sexy, creature in the room really talking to her?

King smiled down at her and her pussy flooded. “Of course, if you are waiting for someone else, I’ll leave you alone.”

No! Don’t do that.

She clutched his arm to steady herself—well, to stop him leaving, in actual fact. “W–w–what about the siren?”

As Fay said this, she glanced over to the elves’ table and saw it was just them. There was no sign of the women.

She frowned.

King chuckled. “Oh, they’ve moved on. We are familiar with those four little madams. They like to claim as many men as possible.”

Fay’s eyes boggled. “You’ve had sex with them already?”

As Fay went bright red, the elf threw his head back and laughed loudly. He wrapped an arm around her waist and squeezed.

Holy Christmas! That is soooo good.

She leaned in toward him, trying not to appear as sluttish as the nymph, but knowing exactly why the women had acted the way they had.

“Nope. They were too energetic last year. Elliott got tied to the bed and whipped, and Ringo had three of the women latched onto his enormous member at one stage. Even Harve was not immune to their brand of sexual relations.”

Fay wasn’t sure if that was good or not.

“It’s been a hard year with the recession and such like. We’re all tired and want something more relaxing, like a women who knows how to treat men sweetly. Then we saw you.”

Fay’s jaw dropped to the ground.

King raised a finger to close her mouth and kept his hand there, rubbing her lip with this thumb. Fay’s throat went dry while moisture was trickling down her thigh.

“Join us?” he said, nodding at his friends who were all waving her eagerly to come over to them.

“Sure.” Fay’s voice was very husky as King led her to his table.

Part of her mind was flabbergasted, and another part was wondering if her wish had been granted.

Surely not? Her wishes never get answered. Just in case the wish fairy was working extra time this Christmas, Fay quickly made another request.

Okay, so they are showing interest in me. I wish that it would go further than just hello and a drink.

She opened her eyes to see three elves grinning broadly at her.

King stopped at his table. “So, let me introduce you to these reprobates. I’m called Elvis.”

Fay swiftly looked up at him and frowned, not sure she had heard him correctly. “I thought your name was King?”

He chuckled. “That’s my nickname.”

“Oh!” Well, that made sense. She could see the link between the name and the well-known singer.

King indicated the bald guy. “This one who can barely speak after that encounter with the Valkyrie is Elliott. Occasionally we call him E.T. or Ellie, if we really want to tease him.”

Elliott held out a hand. “Nice to meet you, little fairy.”

Fay shook his hand. A tingle went up her arm and she smiled back at him. He was the shortest of the four but had a deep voice that was totally unexpected. She desperately wanted to cup his head, or stroke the sexily smooth chest that she could see as his bright orange shirt was unbuttoned to his waist.

“My name is Fay.”

The fair-haired one, who had been singing earlier, nodded a hello at her. “Hi, Fay. I’m Elrond. Commonly called known as Ringo—you will tell from my earlier performance I am the best singer.”

She reluctantly turned away from Elliott and gave Ringo a grin. He was very cute and seemed to be the cheeky one.

Fay was also seeing a pattern to their nicknames. Someone had a sense of humor, she thought, although it was common for elves to use monikers since their first names usually began with ‘El.’

Turning to the last one, the elf with the white hair, who had yet to be called anything, Fay speculated what his name was going to be.

He tipped his head back on one side as he studied her in return, not saying a word. Fay wondered if he disliked her or something. She wasn’t sure how to take him.

It was King who introduced them. “And that funny looking goon who was so desperate to leave he couldn’t be bothered to change, is Elwood, but for short we call him Harvey. Don’t worry if he doesn’t say anything, he’s the quiet sort—but those are usually the deadliest in bed.”

Fay nearly choked. She had to clear her throat before speaking. “Hi, Harvey, everyone. Nice to meet you.”

Okay, Santa, I’ve a wish for another prezzie. Please, please, please can I have sex with at least one of these gorgeous hunks tonight?

Excerpt:

Holly Pendleton balanced a pile of books in her arms and made her way out of the stockroom. She glanced over at her boss and best friend, Gracie Harlowe, at the register and smiled. She enjoyed the busy throng of people at the winter carnival and usually looked forward to it. She had worked other retail jobs in the historic downtown shopping district, but working here was a dream come true. When Gracie had called her up three months ago and offered her the assistant manager’s job, she had taken it and hadn’t looked back.

Teetering on the edge of depression for months after watching her husband die of cancer, Holly was having a hard time finding the holiday spirit this year.

Derek had only been thirty-four, she thought bitterly. They’d been married for nine years, but she had known him since she was a geeky freshman in high school. The hole was too big to fill, and it left her feeling empty.

Still, she was grateful to Gracie for kicking her in the pants and getting her out of bed and back into the world again. Just in time for the holidays too. It was a special time that she and Derek had always shared. He would have wanted her to be happy.

She laid the stack of Christmas cookie books on a festive table near the window display and straightened the array of titles. Her gaze wandered to the small kitchen at the back of the store, and she made a mental note to grab some more cookies to refill the party trays on the dessert table.

“Holly!” Gracie waved her arms. “Can you grab me another stack of Fifty Shades of Grey?”

She glanced at the display where the books were and found they were down to one copy. Not good. Sales had started to slow down, but erotica had been steadily increasing over the past few months. It made her laugh to see the smut novels near the holiday displays, but it made the customers happy, so who was she to quibble? Besides, she loved reading them herself.

“I’ll get them!” Holly wound her way back into the stockroom and yanked a box off the overstock shelves. She grabbed a box cutter, deftly opened the box and placed the books on a cart, adding some of the second, third, and the new fourth book in the series, as they were getting a little on the low side too.

Erotic romance books were one of the few things she let herself enjoy these days, and she had several customers who came back to ask her about the latest and greatest. It was a fantasy land that took her beyond the walls of hospitals and now, the silence of the apartment at night. Reading was safe. She never even considered dating again. That part of her life was over.

Holly shook off the melancholy and hoofed it back onto the shop floor. Stacking the books onto the table, she arranged them in orderly piles of gray covers with erotic masks, ties, and handcuffs. She passed the romance section and gathered up some of her favorites to restock her promo shelf at the storefront. Cherise Sinclair, Kallypso Masters, Jasmine Haynes, Red Phoenix, Rachel Kramer Bussel…she loved them all. There were so many great writers that had made bondage erotica take off. Fifty Shades may have gotten the public reading again, but she had been a fan for years. Now the movie had come out for the famous books, and she wondered how it compared.

Smiling wistfully, she caressed the covers and wished her husband were still with her. She missed his firm hand and their power exchanges. He had been more than just her husband. He had been her Dom. Losing him had been the collapse of her entire world. If it hadn’t been for these books and Gracie, she would still be huddled in a miserable ball, crying her eyes out and wondering why he had to die. He was so young, and they hadn’t had much time.

“Can you help ring for a second?” Gracie called out and made a quick jaunt to the restroom in the back of the store.

Holly moved behind the counter and smiled as a woman arrived in front of her to check out. It was a unique store, and she loved being here. Gracie had crafted a special place for book lovers, and every holiday she spruced it up beautifully. Even when she wasn’t working here, Holly loved to come and check out the newest selections and pick up a couple of items for the house. Halloween, Christmas, or whatever was happening, Gracie always seemed to have the perfect balance of home décor and books to dive into, whether it was a cozy mystery or a pulse-pounding thriller. In the early days, it had just been decoration, but now she had expanded the business to selling the trees and offering to spruce up clients’ homes. The shop was every bit as special as Gracie, and it had, over the years, become Holly’s second home, even before she started working there.

Decorating clients’ businesses and homes and working behind the shop counter kept her busy. Putting up a tree gave her joy, and she saw how other lives were touched by a few twinkle lights and some tinsel. She’d done some decorations for the folks in the cancer ward, and this was a natural transition. If she could bring happiness by hanging a wreath or by delivering an order of books to a shut-in woman, then she was pleased to do it. It took her mind off the loneliness and gave her a purpose. This time of year especially.

The front door opened with a blast of snowy air, and an imposing thirty-something man sporting a thigh-length leather coat blew in. His chiseled features and mass of dark hair made her catch her breath and falter in her task of ringing up the woman in front of her. The black sweater he wore under his coat looked striking against the dark blue of his eyes. The gray slacks draped over his frame, his black boots befitting the weather outside. He said nothing to her, his gaze captivated by the display of holiday decorations.

How odd.

He reminded her of one of the Doms in her collection of books. Heat spiked through parts of her she’d thought were as dead as her husband. She wondered how it would feel to unwrap that package.

Blushing, Holly turned back to the customer in front of her. Good grief, she hoped he hadn’t noticed her staring.

Holly finished ringing the books up and slipped them into a bag. She tossed in a candy cane with a card offering their holiday decorating services attached. “Here you go. Have a wonderful day.”

The woman waved good-bye and shuffled out the door into the snow. Looking anywhere but at the enigmatic man in front of her, Holly fought the sensation of butterflies fluttering in her stomach. He was incredible. The way his well-built form filled the space made her eyes automatically seek him out. Warmth stirred in her lower belly, and she nibbled on her lip.

“Hello. Welcome to Harlowe’s.” She fiddled with the hem of her sweater and felt a surge of heat rush up the sides of her face.

Ugh. How lame was she to just blurt that out?

The man raised an eyebrow, a dark and sensual smile sliding over his features. “Thank you.” His voice melted over her like chocolate, and she shivered.

Holly turned away and busied herself with stuffing bags with holiday activity lists. What kind of horrible woman was she to even be reacting to another man just a year after her husband’s passing? Lusting after the man in gray. Her lips thinned. No. She wasn’t ready for those feelings. Especially not from a stranger she had seen for all of thirty seconds.

She sneaked a glance at him while she straightened gift bags. He walked up to the Christmas tree in the front window and stroked its branches. Fingering the ornaments, he explored their small holiday store with a reverence that reminded her of a priest in church. Men usually didn’t bother with Christmas tree ornaments, but he was enraptured. It was mystifying.

A flush crept across Holly’s face. Stirrings of longing zapped through her body as she wondered if this dark-haired stranger knew his way around a flogger. Sighing deeply, she knelt down to pick up a bag that had fallen off the counter while she worked.

“Time for a cold shower tonight,” Holly mumbled. Sensing someone in front of the register, she stood.

“Hi. Did you need help finding anything…?” The very source of her temptation stood right in front of her. Oh God. She wanted to reach right across the counter and run her tongue over those amazing lips.

Neil rubbed his hand along Cecily’s ass, his finger edging between her skin and the lacy red panties from behind.

“Why do you think?”

Neil’s cock pressed against Cecily’s side. His fingers continued their distracting path even as he upped the pulses on the vibrator.

“How do you like that?” he whispered, voice husky. He untied the strings on the panties, giving him greater access to her slick folds.

“Oh. My. God!” Cecily moaned into his thigh as he slid two fingers inside of her at the same time as he cranked up the power on the tiny vibrator to what felt like its highest capacity.

Neil pumped his thick fingers into her pussy relentlessly, taking Cecily close to the edge and pulling back out again. He turned off the vibe, leaving her staring down at the carpet, completely bereft.

“But… Oh, Neil!” Cecily wriggled against his lap, her erect clit pulsing between her legs and her molten core longing for release.

Neil smoothed her hair from her face and wiped a tear that slid from her eye.

“That’s how I felt looking at those pictures. I wanted to bury my cock inside of you and I couldn’t. I haven’t seen you much at all with this new job, let alone been able to do anything about the raging lust giving me a boner big enough to buy out the vibrator counter just so I’d have a bag big enough to walk out of the store without disgracing myself.”

“I’ll make it up to you.” Cecily started to move, but Neil stilled her.

“Wait. I have an idea.” Neil kissed her on the top of her head. “Come on. Let’s go in the living room.” He helped her up and eased off the bed and onto his feet. The walk to the living room was quick, Neil shutting off the lights as he went.

“I want to take you here. Right in front of the tree.”

Cecily grinned, desire raging through her veins. “What about Lulu?”

“Look, she’s on the chair asleep.”

“Mmmm.” Cecily turned her gaze to the twinkling holiday lights and knelt down on the carpet.

Neil slid behind her and she heard the sound of a zipper.

“I can’t wait.”

“Neither can I. Take me.”

The tip of Neil’s cock teased her entrance. Suddenly he was in, thrusting balls deep. With a groan, he slid his hands down her sides. With one hand he grasped her hip, the other her clit.

“If you don’t fuck me now I’m going to die,” Cecily whispered, grinding herself against the root of him. “I need you.”

The Secret of Obedience by Liv Rancourt (@LivRancourt)

The Secret of ObedienceBlurb:

Can a jock find love with a hot little hipster?

Opposites attract, but secrets divide.

Ronnie Durand is a country boy who transfers to the University of Washington after two years at Central. He’ll have to give up playing football, though finishing his education at a major university in Seattle – and being out and proud without having to look over his shoulder – makes the sacrifice worthwhile.

But finding friends at a huge school is tough, especially when the hottest guy Ronnie meets makes him doubt his own sanity.

Sang’s been on his own a long time. He’s only a couple steps away from living on the street, and he’s got dreams so big they don’t leave space for a steady boyfriend. Then he meets Ronnie, who just might be strong enough to break through his barriers….as long as Sang lets him in on one big secret.

Excerpt:

My bike’s parked right in front of the club. “Are we going far?” I ask.

“Four or five blocks.”

I hand him the helmet. “Get on.”

He slides the helmet on, and I help him tighten the buckles. He chitters a laugh, making the moment silly and a little awkward. I straddle the bike, and when he climbs on behind me it turns me on so bad I almost come again. Damn. I want to be stretched out in a bed with Sang, both of us naked, with a box of condoms and a Costco-sized bottle of lube.

With nudges and hand signals, he guides me to a big brick apartment building about a quarter mile away. I park, and he springs off, leaving me with a sharp shiver at the loss of his heat. By the time I get the bike locked up, he’s on the front door phone.

“I need your bed, chica.”

“I’m in it.” The voice is muffled, most likely female, and laughing rather than annoyed.

“Then your couch.”

The phone clicks and goes to dial tone, and the door buzzes. I follow Sang through the lobby, where the dark burgundy carpet could be original to the 1940s. We jog up a couple flights of stairs and down a hall to an open apartment door.

“Go.” He hustles me in, then throws the deadbolt and taps on a closed door to our right. “Thanks, baby.”

An indistinct bleat answers him, likely from the location of the occupied bed. The rest of the apartment is one room with a kitchenette in the corner. It’s dark except for the streetlights outside, but Sang knows where to find candles and a match. We’re quiet, wordless, working with borrowed solitude. Compared with the thrash of the nightclub and the sleazy bathroom stall, I’ll take it.

I dump my jacket and helmet on the dining table. Sang sets two candles on the tiny bookcase, hauls me over to the couch, and pushes me down. I’m laughing, because for a little guy, he’s bossy as hell. Then he straddles me, and I want to kiss him without pissing him off. I drag him close and nuzzle his neck, tasting, testing, planting not-kisses in a hot line down his throat. He sighs, and I take it as permission to keep going.

His pants are stretch leggings, so it doesn’t take much to get them worked down over his hips to free his dick. It’s so elegant, tapered and smooth. I want to suck on it again, to bring him off and make him sputter in Korean or Chinese or whatever language he babbled in last time. If he wanted me to, I’d fuck him, but he’d have to ask. I’m not really much for butt sex. If a guy’s into it, I’ll do what he wants, but my own preference is for hands and mouths, everything slick with spit and lube. I like messy sex. And kissing. I really like kissing.

I stroke him, rubbing my thumb over the head of his dick, and he flops against me like I’ve disconnected his spinal cord. The room smells of smoke and roses, and he’s fumbling at my zipper, those delicate hands all trembling and raw, so I reach in and help. My hand’s big enough to wrap around both of us, the heat of his thrust enough to drive both of us crazy. His lace shirt is tangling in my fingers and around our shafts, so I undo the buttons and shove it off his shoulders. My black silk is already kinda trashed, but he does the same for me, exposing my chest.

Our thrusting goes from eager to urgent to needy, his heavy-lidded gaze trapping me. His climax hits like a rocket, like fireworks going off in a black July sky. I follow, but it’s more of a tease, dragged out, slow and seductive until I can’t breathe and I arch off the couch. Sang crawls up my chest, hanging on, laying open-mouthed kisses over my ear, down my jaw.

If I’m lucky, this night will never end.

“We need to go soon.”

His whisper hits me like a slap. “I’d bring you back to my dorm,” I say, “but I haven’t given my roommate the homophobia quiz yet.”

He raises up and smirks at me. “I don’t like him already.”

I run a hand over his shoulder, smoothing his ruffled feathers. My calloused fingertips catch in the lace, and I wonder how something so old fits like it was made for him.

“What are you studying in that big school, anyway?” His question is tentative, cautious.

“Exercise science or maybe business. I haven’t chosen a major yet.” I pause, giving him a chance to ask a follow-up question. When he doesn’t I step up. “What about you? What are you studying at that big school?”

He grimaces and shakes his head. “Nothing. I’m not at your school.”

“Oh, it’s my school now?”

He pats my cheek. “Yes. Your school.”

“I see you every day in World History.”

“No one sees me.” His lower lip softens, and he catches it with the tips of his teeth. “They see the clothes.” He reaches for the lace blouse, shaking it out and tossing it over his shoulders. “They see a girl or a scenester or a queer.” He stands, shakes his junk back into his stretchy pants, does a little hootchie dance to organize things. “No one sees me. Not even my family.”

Old pain erodes his effervescence, showing through the cracks like basalt under soil. I’m stretched over the couch, on display, my shirt open and my dick hanging out of my jeans. He covers my eyes with his hand, but I knock it away.

“I think you look real good. I’d like to see a lot more of you.”

Which sounds really kind of lame and try-hard, but this is what I came to Seattle for, too. Adventure. Maybe even romance, the kind I can show off in public.

“I want to,” he says.

For a moment he shows me his profile, private, thoughtful, and I give him some space to go on.

“And if I was going to see someone,” he continues with more laughter in his tone, “he’d be a lot like you.”

“So let’s do it.”

I should probably feel bad when he doesn’t respond, but the back-to-back orgasms catch up with me. I tip my head back and close my eyes, fighting sleep. Sang’s rummaging around the apartment. Haven’t a clue why he’s lying about school and why he won’t take me up on my offer, but after two evenings he’s an itch I won’t be able to scratch on my own, so I let it go. Country boys are known for their determination.

Donner and Prancer by Robin Badillo (@Robin_Badillo)

Donner and PrancerBlurb:

Noah Donner had it all. Good looks, great job, and a kick-ass gift. As a special breed of shifter, every Christmas Eve he assisted Santa as one of his famous reindeer. A lover of all women, he’s the quintessential playboy. But all that changed within weeks of Christmas, when he found himself drawn to another reindeer shifter, Mira Prancer.

Not exactly sleek reindeer material, full-figured Mira took pride in her gift as a shifter, while not nearly as confident about herself when in human form. Usually a timid wallflower, Mira is surprised to learn she’s Noah’s latest target, and after a drunken night of unexpected passion, they find themselves in a quandary.

Neither can deny the attraction, but Mira will need more than words to trust the sexy Casanova.

Can the two love-struck shifters play nice? Or will this little Reindeer Game require a little Christmas magic?

Noah nudged her against the door, closing it behind them.

Mira gasped. His smoldering expression turned her stomach upside down, and heat pooled between her legs. Had he cast a spell, stealing away her ability to escape? Her skin tingled at the thought of giving in to his silent intent.

Noah’s hands found her midsection and needy eyes drank her in as though she were a mug of hot, buttered rum on a cold winter’s night.

I’ve totally lost my mind. “Is this really happening?” Did I say that aloud?

Noah’s eyes gleamed and a mischievous grin spread across his face. “Oh, it’s happening.” He slowly leaned in, and his lips grazed hers, immediately followed by his tongue. Warm swipes plunged deeper with each pass, triggering moisture that dampened her panties.

Mira’s knees buckled and Noah scooped her up into his arms and carried her to the sofa as though she weighed next to nothing.

His kisses grew more passionate. Deeper. Hungrier.

Mira could hardly catch her breath. This was crazy. Insane. “Get the fuck out!”

Noah stopped. A look of confusion and shock flashed in his eyes. “What?”

Mira laughed, covering her mouth as heat rushed to her cheeks. “I’m sorry. That sort of slips out whenever I’m surprised.”

Noah’s brow pinched. “You’re surprised?”

She bit back another laugh and went with an enthusiastic nod instead.

“Why?”

Mira’s head spun and she strained to sit upright. How could she explain this? “Men like you don’t come home with women like me, Noah.”

He shook his head. “Why?”

He sounded like a broken record now.

“Be-because,” she said stammering through her reply. “Look at you.”

Noah rose and stood by the sofa, gazing down at her. “What about me?”

“Uh … well, you’re built like a Greek god and you have a reputation as a …” She searched for the correct words—words that held a little more delicacy than man-whore. “Ladies’ man?”

“Humph.” He rested his hands on his hips. “Ladies’ man, huh?”

“I was being polite.” Mira squirmed.

Noah’s eyebrows arched high. “Is that so?” He folded his arms across his chest. “Why don’t you tell me how you really feel, Mira?”

Bile shot up in the back of her throat as her nervous demeanor morphed into one a little more hostile. “How I really feel?” Dozens of irritating things about the man came to mind. Everything from his obnoxious, too-loud laugh, to the ugly reindeer sweater he wore, to the Christmas party every friggin’ year. “Well … for starters, you brag about your conquests entirely too much.” She’d keep her comments limited to the facts rather than opinions. “You treat women like trophies and well … you seem to have a serious problem with my ass.” The last part flew out of her mouth so fast she had no time to reel it back in.

That First Kiss by Helena Stone (@HelenasHeat)

Excerpt:

His heated gaze flicked from my eyes to my mouth and back again before he moved closer and pressed his lips against mine for a moment.

My body tensed and stopped moving. My heart thundered in my chest and my breathing sped up. I pulled back with enough force to break Aidan’s hold and stepped away. My gaze flew around the club until I’d located the exit. I strode towards it without looking at anybody, panic driving me forward. I vaguely heard my name and ignored it. I needed to get outside, away from all these people, away from the new experiences and away from all these feelings I didn’t know how to deal with.”

Poor Lennart, nineteen year old, deeply insecure, and never been kissed. It takes all his courage to walk into a gay club and not run away when he’s approached by a handsome man. When Aidan initiates that first soft kiss, Lennart panics and runs.

I sympathise. I was fifteen when a boy kissed me for the very first time and I froze. It is just as well I didn’t try to run like Lennart does, since we were sitting on a branch (yes, we really were K.I.S.S.I.N.G in a tree). But my stunned and unresponsive reaction to that boy’s lips against mine ended my first kiss almost as soon as it started. A day later he told me that while he liked me, he thought I was too young for anything beyond friendship and shattered my innocent heart in the process. It would be another year before we tried that again and managed to move beyond pressing our lips together. 🙂

Fortunately Lennart is luckier than I was. Aidan follows him when he flees the nightclub and a few minutes later he is given a second opportunity to experience his first kiss, and this time he grabs it with both hands.

“If I kiss you, will you run again?”

If he kisses you he’ll know you’ve never done it before. The voice was back, jumping on another opportunity to sabotage me but I ignored it.

“No. I won’t run.” I held my breath as Aidan closed the short distance between us. He touched my cheek and looked straight into my eyes, forcing me to look back at him. This time his lips didn’t take me by surprise when they pressed against mine. The emotions the soft touch evoked in me did. I didn’t panic and never thought about fleeing. Quite the opposite, I yearned for more and pressed my lips against his in a quiet demand.

Feeling his lips curve under mine before parting filled me with wonder. I gasped when his tongue stroked my mouth and Aidan took full advantage of my reaction. I remembered reading somewhere that you never forget your first kiss and in that moment I knew it to be true. What on earth had I been worried about? I might be clueless but my mouth and tongue knew exactly what to do as the kiss got deeper. He explored my mouth and I explored his, lost in feelings so heady I felt faint.

And that’s only the first of many ‘firsts’ Lennart will experience with Aidan.

How about you? Do you remember your first kiss? And are those memories sweet, sad, happy? I’d love to hear about your experience, so please leave a comment below.

ME 6About the Author:

Helena Stone can’t remember a life before words and reading. After growing up in a household where no holiday or festivity was complete without at least one new book, it’s hardly surprising she now owns more books than shelf space while her Kindle is about to explode.

The urge to write came as a surprise. The realisation that people might enjoy her words was a shock to say the least. Now that the writing bug has well and truly taken hold, Helena can no longer imagine not sharing the characters in her head and heart with the rest of the world.

Having left the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam for the peace and quiet of the Irish Country side she divides her time between reading, writing, long and often wet walks with the dog, her part-time job in a library, a grown-up daughter and her ever loving and patient husband.
