I’m delighted to announce Tilly Hunter, who is dishing the dirt on her story in Smut Alfresco. Take it away, Tilly…

A big thanks to Lucy for inviting me over to her blog and to both Lucy and her partner in crime Victoria Blisse for accepting my story for their Smut Alfresco anthology.

My story, The Explorer Challenge, is all about the British Ordnance Survey map, which may not sound a particularly likely subject for erotica. But I’m a map geek and proud of it. In fact, I’ve just ventured into my loft to count the maps in my collection and I have 62. If I go somewhere new for so much as a weekend, I’ll buy the map. I can stare at them for hours. They’re like magic: if you know how to read a map, you can visualise a whole landscape in your mind just by looking at the lines and symbols on a sheet of paper. The couple in my story love maps too, and they set themselves a challenge that will take them all over Britain for fresh air fun.

The inspiration for it came in a circuitous route, as these things often do. While I was first thinking about my story, I happened to find the book Map Addict: A Tale of Obsession, Fudge and the Ordnance Survey, by Mike Parker, on a friend’s bookshelf. It has a chapter called Carto Erotica, which starts with a quote from Geoff Nicholson’s Bleeding London: “Afterwards as she lay panting on her back, legs still splayed, she said, ‘I want to be fucked everywhere. In every hole. In every position. In every London borough. In every postal district.’” The fact I was staying on a Scottish island at the time probably influenced my choice of setting, since I settled on Orkney.

The Carto Erotica chapter is packed full of smutty facts; “maps bristle with sexual energy”. Standing stones, caves and cairns are all pretty obvious. But who knew that the British Board of Film Classification decided whether a penis was erect, and therefore banned from our sensitive eyes in ye olden days before the internet, by referring to the angle at which the Mull of Kintyre sticks out from the Scottish mainland? Or that Britain is full of streets called Gropecunt Lane?

Tilly Hunter – www.tillyhuntererotica.blogspot.co.uk – is a British author with stories in anthologies from Xcite Books, House of Erotica and MLR Press. Her first solo ebook, Miranda’s Tempest, a trio of stories offering kinky takes on Shakespeare’s The Tempest, Grimms’ Hansel and Gretel and Homer’s The Odyssey, is out now from House of Erotica and available at http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mirandas-Tempest-BDSM-Erotica-ebook/dp/B00AWFT76Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1359747400&sr=8-1

Sunday Snog – Not Just Desserts

Sunday Snog

Smut for ChocoholicsHere’s a snog-tastic snippet from my latest release, Not Just Desserts, which appears in Smut for Chocoholicsedited by Kevin Mitnik.

When he came back in, there was a mischievous glint in his eyes. He closed the door behind him. “We’re alone. So, what were you saying about not wasting any more time?”

The bubble of lust expanded further, and spurred her on. Out of her seat, across the room and into his arms. She pressed him against the door, wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down for a kiss. He responded immediately, pulling her harder against his body, her curves moulding against his hard torso—and harder cock. Their kiss deepened. Stephen parted his sinful lips and his tongue tried for entry to her mouth. She allowed it in, almost swooning in his embrace as he possessed her lips, her mouth, her tongue. Her bubble burst, and her knickers quickly became drenched. All this, just from a kiss. She suspected the months of lusting after him had probably added to her arousal—the fact that she was finally, finally, getting what she wanted.

Except she wasn’t. The kiss was delightful and all, but what she really wanted was his tongue in her mouth and his cock in her pussy. She pulled away.

“Mmm,” he said, grinding his crotch against hers. “You taste of chocolate.”

She grinned. “I should think I bloody well do.”

“We’ll have to share one of those some time. It looked good.”

“Mmm—hmm. But I can think of something I’d rather share, right now.”

“Yeah?”

“Yeah.” She slipped her hand between their bodies and cupped his crotch. She sucked in a breath as she felt the heft of his cock. She suspected it would do very nicely… and then some.

The fabulous Wendi Zwaduk is here today, telling us all about her characters, Torin and Zoe, who have appeared in both Smut in the City and Smut Alfresco. Take it away, Wendi…

Torin and Zoe…  A Love Story

First, I want to thank Lucy for having me here to talk about my characters. Always fun to hang out with you!! Plus its fun to talk about Zoe and Torin.

Zoe and Torin are from my stories in the Smut in the City Anthology and Smut Alfresco, but they actually started out before both stories. Let me tell you about them.

I had this scene, just one really, of these two people stuck in an elevator. She’s freaking out and he’s a rock star. That’s not why she’s freaking out. She’s claustrophobic. She also knows him because they had a relationship before the elevator scene. I didn’t have anything other than that scene, so I just jotted it down and let them percolate. When they wanted to talk, I’d listen.

I’m one of those writers that will see a sub call and the idea will right then spark. That’s what happened when I saw the call for SITC. Torin and Zoe came out of hiding and started talking. I wrote down their back story, then went back to the elevator. Turns out, the elevator scene was just a snippet (like I figured) and the relationship was much more complicated. I’d also seen an apartment complex in Cleveland, right off Lake Erie, that was the perfect setting for their reuniting. I forgot to mention, theirs, like a lot of my work, is a second chance romance.  Yes, they’re complicated people.

So who are they? Zoe is the submissive and Torin is her dom, but they don’t live the lifestyle 24/7. They also aren’t hardcore like some couples and that’s okay for them.  SITC let them work through some issues they had and Alfresco was the way for them to find out if the love they shared could last. And there’s sex among the daisies—something I’d love to do. I would.

I’ve not written the genesis of their relationship, but I’d like to. One of these days, or maybe even for a future Smut anthology, I’ll do it. I love these two and letting them tell how they got together in the first place feels like it’s the right thing to do…one of these days.

Here’s a snippet from Private Hideaway, from Smut Alfresco:

“Sixty-five. Remember that number.”

“Why?”

“That,” he inched the Jeep forward, “is our lot number.” Torin drove down the winding path to a secluded area of the campground. No other campers or vehicles were visible. He pulled into a gravel path next to a log cabin. Bright orange mums and daisies blossomed in front of the weathered grey building. “There. We’re off the grid. Kind of.” He whipped out a set of keys. “These are the keys to our private hideaway. No one will bother us because no one knows we’re here. We’ve got a dock and a whole open field down the hill a little ways. Plus, I have a surprise for you.”

Zoe rolled her eyes. They were standing on front of a wooden cottage in the middle of a deserted campground. What possible surprises could he have up his sleeve?

Torin slipped out of the vehicle and walked out of her line of sight. Within moments, he returned with a huge bouquet of roses. “These are for you, my love.”

“Thank you.” She buried her face in the sweet crimson blossoms. “You know how much I love these.” Zoe wrapped her free arm around his waist. “Question. How do you know we won’t be interrupted? We’ve had the paparazzi on our tails for the last six months.”

“I know and I’m sorry.” Torin offered his hand. “I want to go for a walk.”

She opened her mouth to protest, but he silenced her with a kiss. Zoe melted into his touch, threading her arms around his neck. His tongue tangled with hers. Torin hoisted her off the packed earth, then carried her into the cabin. The door slapped on the wall and the crack vibrated the tiny building. His footsteps thumped on the hardwood floor. A large bed, clad in fresh white sheets sat in the corner of the quaint room.

“Perfect.” Torin crossed the room to the bed. “I can’t wait.” He smoothed her skirt out of the way, then grabbed the strings at the sides of her panties. “Need you, babe.”

Eroticon 2013 – What Really Happened

Wow… how to write this post without making it longer than the average short story?! I guess I’ll keep it short and to the point, and of course, the photos will speak a thousand words… or something. I am still exhausted from a fabulous weekend, and therefore my brain is not firing on all cylinders. Probably not any, actually. So, here goes:

davethebearFriday night:

Not part of the conference, but a fabulous night out with K D Grace, Victoria Blisse, Lily Harlem, Tabitha Rayne, Lexie Bay, Kay Jaybee and myself. K D Grace organised a trip to the Volupte Lounge in the City of London. We had a delicious dinner in Belushi’s first of all, then headed off for some burlesque. And it was brilliant. I’m afraid the names of the performers escape me (though I suspect K D Grace will have them all listed in her write-up), with one exception. Dave the Bear. Yes, Dave. A man, who kayboozeperformed some boylesque. For me, he was the highlight. He was very funny, sexy and totally bonkers. Our table laughed, cheered, whistled and whooped throughout, and also very much enjoyed Stefan, a rather attractive young man who was dragged onto the stage and made into the partner of a Russian ballerina – who happened to be a man. For the sake of brevity, I’ll just say this was a night full of friendship, giggles and fun. And Kay Jaybee with her first shot – a Butterball, which was delicious.

Saturday:

So – conference time. A very tired bunch of smut writers made their way from their hotel to the conference, popping into Waterloo station for some food and drinks first. I attended the opening speech, Brook’s speech on sexual health and contraception (which I found fascinating, and am hoping to have one of the members on my blog at some point), then Kristina Lloyd’s creative writing workshop. I’d never met Kristina before, so like the fangirl I am, I asked her to sign one of her books for me, which she very graciously did after the workshop. During, though, there was no time for autographs – it was a packed session which produced a hilarious outcome. We had spreadsheets with differently coloured blocks, and we had to write various things in the boxes. For example:

Name four things that sparkle:

  • Edward Cullen
  • Stars
  • Ice
  • Snow

It was early in the morning (especially for me, I’m not at all a morning person), which is my only excuse for the first answer. But it did make me giggle. Our homework is to write something containing some of the words and elements we came up with. Hopefully I’ll be able to get to that soon.

Then came refreshments, and I ended up not going to any of the sessions because I was too busy chatting with people, both people I already knew, and those I was lucky enough to meet. Next came Remittance Girl’s workshop, which was more theoretical than Kristina’s, but incredibly thought provoking, and left me with many thoughts whizzing around my head.

Afterwards came lunch, and I accidentally got chatting and ended up  missing the next session, because I didn’t want to walk in late – oops! But some fantastic conversations were had – not least one with Mario Cacciottolo, who runs the Someone Once Told Me website, which is a fabulous idea – check it out to see what it’s all about. It turned out we both went to the University at Derby (though not at the same time) and actually had one of the same lecturers – what a small world!

stpauls

Soon, many people were flagging, including myself, so me, Victoria Blisse, Lexie Bay, Lily Harlem and Tabitha Rayne headed over to see the Sh! Girlz. Tabitha had never met them before, so it was a very exciting experience for her, and of course I’m always delighted to see the ladies, especially since Renee, Jo and Shelly were there. So it was hugs all round, some signing of books, some giggles, some purchasing, then we reluctantly went on our way – via a pub – to go and get something to eat. I led the girls from London Bridge Tube station to Gourmet Burger Kitchen on Clink Street without consulting a map, impressing them all 😀 After feeding our faces, we headed back to the hotel and nattered until almost one in the morning. Which leads me to…

kdteacherSunday:

Even more tired, we headed –  bags and all, as most of us went home straight after the conference – back to the venue. Victoria and I were on the first panel, about anthologies, so we had to liven up. Thankfully we managed it (Victoria is fine with mornings, luckily, so she chivvied me along!) and had a great panel with Rachel Kramer Bussel and Maxim Jakubowski with lots of varied and fun questions, which I hope we answered successfully.

Again, lots of networking and chatting was done, and so I didn’t attend any more sessions until the afternoon, which was K D Grace’s creative writing workshop. She’s my friend, so I admit I am biased, but it was excellent, interesting and very informative. I got a little bit of my novella written, so I came away with something to work on, too.

Sadly, it was then time to go. A huge round of goodbyes were made at the venue, then some of us headed to Waterloo station, where another round of goodbyes were made. I then headed onto the Northern Line to St. Pancras, and eventually, home. I was so knackered it was a struggle not to fall asleep on the train, but I managed it. Just.

Overall:

The tiredness was absolutely worth it. Writing is such a solitary business that it’s absolutely fantastic to be able to  meet up with like minded people and chat, share ideas, and just generally have fun. I don’t regret missing some of the sessions, purely because the time I spent meeting new people and being with ones I already knew was invaluable. Sadly, I didn’t get to meet everyone I wanted to, but I checked a few off the list, which I’m very pleased about. And there’s always next year to meet the rest. I can’t wait! Well done, Ruby Kiddell – you pulled it off again, and it was even better than last year. Roll on Smut by the Sea!

I’m delighted to announce Tenille Brown, who is dishing the dirt on her story in Smut Alfresco. Take it away, Tenille…

Blushed and Bruised

When I began writing Patches, it was between Halloween and Thanksgiving.  Though I’m not into writing holiday themed stories, I thought it would be good and different to touch on something I had never visited before in my writing, and that something happened to be not only a holiday decoration, but a holiday food.

Of course the characters in my story don’t get to eat… not the food, anyway.

The delicacy I’m referring to here is pumpkins, and not just pumpkins, but pumpkin patches.  And since the call for Smut Alfresco specified outdoor sex, I thought about how interesting it would be to write and read about hot, in the wild sex surrounded by large, luscious pumpkins.

In addition to exploring new scenery in this story, I also put together two characters who had already had a history together, but didn’t realize they both needed closure until they met again, in the male character’s pumpkin patch of all places.

But at the root of it all, my reason and inspiration for writing Patches was this:

Who wouldn’t want to be bent over or laid on top a picnic table beneath the stars?  Who wouldn’t want to spank their mouthy ex-lover on his own turf?

Have I said too much…or not enough?

You should see for yourself…

Sunday Snog – Her Majesty’s Back Garden

Sunday Snog

Sex in LondonHere’s a snog-tastic snippet from my latest release, Her Majesty’s Back Garden, which appears in Sex in London, edited by Elizabeth Coldwell.

I looked around. There was plenty of cover on three sides of us, and on the fourth was a very high wall – which I presumed was the perimeter wall for the estate. The hustle and bustle of London lay just beyond. I continued to examine the area, convinced there were security cameras hanging from every other branch, and snipers on all the others. If there were, I couldn’t see them, so I turned to Gavin and grinned, my horniness overriding any misgivings.

“Okay,” I said, “let’s do this!”

He responded by walking towards me, grabbing my hips and backing me up to a tree. I was trapped between rough bark and my husband’s hard body. It was lush. Then he kissed me again, and if I’d thought the snog on the bench was hot; that was nothing. Gavin seemed to pour every ounce of passion and need he had into that kiss, and I could do nothing but enjoy it. And that was just fine.

I reached around and grabbed Gavin’s muscular ass cheeks, and pulled him even more tightly to me. His eager erection pressed insistently into my stomach, and I had to concentrate hard on not moaning with pleasure.

Gavin’s tongue pushed against my lips, and I opened my mouth eagerly to admit it. It slipped sensually against my own, twisting, tickling and mock-fighting until I was almost weak with lust. He shifted his hands from my hips and cupped my face, and then proceeded to suck and nibble at my bottom lip until my pussy throbbed and my clit ached, desperate for attention.

But it seemed that despite our precarious position, Gavin was in no rush to get full on down and dirty. When I thought about exactly what our position was, thrills of excitement ran through my body. It was crazy, yet incredibly arousing. What would happen if we got caught? I had some vague information in my head about indecent exposure which could lead to arrest. But this was a special circumstance—we were in the Queen’s back garden, for fuck’s sake! Would that make the crime even graver? Would we be dragged before the monarch herself to be given a punishment befitting the offense?
