FFB Teaser - don't make me

Far from Blind Excerpt:

He closed the door behind them and the distinct click of a lock tumbling over echoed around the room. Maybe no showing yesterday was a mistake. If they’d had any chance at all, she’d blown it for sure. How could she expect him to trust her now? The air, thick with unsaid words, closed in around her.

It was time to take care of business and escape before she embarrassed herself. “This must be for you.” She held out the envelope.

“Thank you.” He took it from her and tore it open, revealing a piece of paper. His cheeks pulled into a little smile, then it disappeared. He maneuvered around his desk and sat. “Do you like me, Candy?”

“Of course I do.” She clasped her arms around her middle. The bigger question is what he thought of her before Club Blind and now.

“Then why didn’t you show last night?” He pressed his lips together and kept his gaze on her.

“To be honest…”

“That’s all I’ll ever expect from you.”

“I’ll give it to you straight. You don’t want a girl like me.” She blew out a breath as if it could help her raging pulse. Never in a million years would she have guessed she’d want a man to tell her she was wrong.

“Is that what you believe?”

“Yes.” She kept her focus on him. He gave nothing away. His expression didn’t change, only his fingers tapped on his desk which was irritatingly neat.

“Then we have a problem.” He stood. “We’d agreed to meet. I kept up my end.”

“And I didn’t.” She blew out a deep breath.

“Come here.”

She didn’t move. She didn’t take her next breath either.

He pointed to the ground in front of him. “Don’t make me ask twice.”

She jumped and then slipped around his desk. Damn, he really did smell good. No matter whether it was aftershave or him, the deep woodsy scent turned here on. Everything about Brad turned her on.

“Did I ask you to join me at Mistress Charlie’s yesterday?”

“Yes, but—”

“Do you believe I’m a liar?”

“No.”

“I don’t think you are either.” He tapped under her chin, lifting her focus back to him. “But I don’t believe you’re being honest with me right now and that’s a problem.”

“I’m sorry I didn’t show yesterday.”

“I appreciate the admission, but I can’t let the action and the attitude go unpunished.”

“What, are you going to spank me?” She chuckled.

“I think it’s time.” He tucked some of her hair behind her ear and his touch lingered along the side of her neck over her ugly mole. “Don’t you agree?”

“Agreed, Sir.” She leaned back on his desk. It was the only thing holding her up.

“Safeword?”

“Red.”

“Very good. Bend over my desk, please.”

“Right here?” She looked around his office. She didn’t find any windows to the hall, but his windows facing the next building were wide open. “You really are pissed.”

The corner of his lips lifted slightly. “The windows are treated. No one can see in here.”

“Oh.”

“You’re stalling.”

“Can you blame me?”

“You do know I’m an accountant, right?” He tugged on her hair. “We like to add.”

Over the Knee Anthology on General Release! (@totally_bound) #erotica #romance #spanking

Hi all,

I’m happy to announce that the Over the Knee anthology from Totally Bound Publishing is on general release today! That’s right, it’s available from all the usual retailers in both print and eBook format.

Here’s a run-down of the awesome (spanktastic?!) contents:

‘In the Eyes of the Law’ by Ashe Barker

She’s still his wife, in the eyes of the law. But is she still his submissive? His to spank?

A momentary lapse of concentration places Libby Novak on the wrong side of the law. A criminal conviction could lose her her job. How much worse could this get?

Libby soon knows the answer to that question when the head of security at the mall shows up. She hasn’t seen her estranged husband for years, and now she discovers Josh has a strict policy on how best to deal with shoplifters. He was her husband and her Dom. Will he turn her over to the police, or would a hard, bare bottom spanking be sufficient redress for her misdemeanour? After all, that’s how he always dealt with her in the past.

Josh has never forgiven Libby’s betrayal. She let him down. She deserves to be punished. But does he still have that right?

Libby meant to divorce him. She was granted the decree nisi but never quite got round to making it final. They both know she’s still his wife, in the eyes of the law. But is she still his submissive? His to spank?

Reader Advisory: This book contains scenes of anal play.

‘Spicing it Up’ by Lily Harlem

Heat from a spanking ensures Cassandra simmers with pleasure in a way she never would have imagined.

Cassandra lives by a set of rules that both thrill and complete her. Having Master Raif attend her every need in and out of the bedroom is perfection. She trusts him absolutely and he wields his power over her with a great sense of responsibility.

But when he announces an erotic new way to spice up their after-dinner party she can’t help having a few nerves. Really? That? There? And would it feel good?

There is only one thing for it, and that’s to smile through the evening and let the anticipation build. When it finally happens and she gets what’s coming to her, Cassandra knows she’ll never look at spice the same way again. The heat is intense, the burn scorching and her Master takes her to new highs that make her sizzle with satisfaction.

‘Kneel for You’ by Katy Swann

Should she agree to be spanked? Just the once? It would all be in the name of research, of course…

When journalist Kirsten Anderson is told by her boss to write an article about BDSM, she’s extremely reluctant. She tries to get out of it by claiming she doesn’t know anything about BDSM, but that isn’t strictly true. None of her colleagues know about her kinky past and she has no intention of letting them find out, but she’s in no position to turn the assignment down either.

When her friend Chloe sees how stressed Kirsten is about this article, she offers to take her to a BDSM club to find some inspiration. Kirsten agrees, but doesn’t mention that she used to go to this particular club regularly until a bad experience made her turn her back on the kinky lifestyle three years earlier.

Returning to the club and watching the scenes around them reminds Kirsten what she’s missing. She’s envious of the girl being flogged by her Dom nearby, but she’s so busy denying it that she doesn’t recognise the burning need inside her. Until she spots Eddie—a colleague she’s got a secret crush on—working in the club as a Dungeon Monitor.

Eddie reintroduces her to the joys of Dominance and submission, the delicious sting of a spanking and the incredible sex that follows. But is she strong enough to conquer her fears?

‘Silk and Decadence’ by Wendi Zwaduk

There is always fun in the club, but taking the fun outside and into life might be exactly what’s needed for a lifetime of passion.

Sadie never claimed to be a good girl. She loves to be at Push, a local dance and BDSM club, but she longs for more—especially with Master E. The blond-haired man with the sparkling brown eyes is everything she wants in a Dom. Too bad he’s also her boss at Delight Tonight. When they finally get together, their chemistry in the club is off the charts. Will that same passion translate into the real world or are they destined to crash and burn?

Elias likes his no-strings life, but once he plays with his mystery woman he rethinks his choice. She responds to him and his spankings like no other, making him want to break his rules. He longs to reveal his identity to her, but the risks could outweigh the reward. Will the relationship survive outside the club?

He’s about to find out just how decadent a little complication, complete with silk and spankings, can be.

‘Properly, or Not at All’ by Lucy Felthouse

How will a husband and wife cope when they’re told one of their favourite kinky pastimes is temporarily off the menu?

Tristan and Jayme are not only devoted husband and wife, they are also Dominant and submissive, with a particular penchant for spanking. They’ve been playing delicious kinky games for the fifteen years they’ve been together and couldn’t be happier. However, when Tristan develops a health issue that means he can’t redden his wife’s backside for a while, it puts both of them under a lot of strain. It’s a big part of their sex life and one they’ll miss badly.

They try to find a way around their unfortunate predicament, but it’s not easy. In the end, Tristan declares that he will either spank Jayme’s bottom properly, or not at all.

The prospect of no spanking at all dismays Jayme, but she has no other choice. Or does she? Continuing to put her mind towards the issue, she indulges in some solo experimentation, with mixed results.

But how will Tristan feel when he finds out his wife has gone behind his back?

Reader Advisory: This book contains scenes of anal sex.

‘A Private Education’ by Dolly Watt

Archivist Emma Willoughby learns a lesson in kinky lust when she’s invited to assess the ninth Earl of Folchester’s private library.

When archivist Emma Willoughby is invited to assess the private library of Lord Leopold Denby-Peel, Ninth Earl of Folchester, she isn’t expecting to find Victorian spanking diaries in his leather-bound collection. Nor is she expecting the earl to be quite so young and handsome. As she explores the pages of his nineteenth century erotica, Emma finds herself craving to receive chastisements comparable to those depicted. Fortunately, Leo’s only too happy to oblige, and soon Emma is receiving eager spankings from him as he sets her tasks which she can only fail at.

Emma is new to this game of punishment and pain while Leo’s an old hand who shows no interest in love. Emma dreams of winning him over but has a guilty secret she fears could ruin everything. Should she stay quiet and enjoy the spankings while they last? Or confess the truth and risk losing the earl’s dark, deviant desire?

Let’s Ride by Rebecca Black (@Northerngirl76)

Hello!

Thanks for having me today so I can give my new book Let’s Ride a shout out.

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I really love a good, quick read. Busy lives often don’t leave as much time as we’d like for reading, do they? I’m not always so bothered about the backstory, I just want to live vicariously for a moment through the characters as they experience that first rush of lust and desire in a new relationship – I want to get a little hot and tingly 😉

Well Evernight’s Romance on the Go range is all about fulfilling this reading need and my new release Let’s Ride is a part of that.

LetsRide-evernightpublishing-JayAheer2015-finalimage

Let’s Ride started life as an erotic short that I wrote for Masturbation Monday (a meme that I write for most weeks). I saw a black and white photograph of this gorgeous, androgynous woman sat on a kick ass motorbike in just a pair of knickers and this piece of flash fiction just fired out of me. Talk about inspiration!

She looked like she wouldn’t take any crap and she looked very capable of sweeping someone off their feet. It got a lot of great feedback so I decided to extend it and lucky for me, Evernight liked it too.

I’ve read some great books with well written dominant male characters, both straight and gay, but I really wanted to write a recognisable archetype with a twist. There isn’t one good reason on this earth why the hero has to be male. Let’s Ride completely rejects that assumption. Jo is confident, self-assured and has a dominant streak a mile wide, but she’s also a beautiful woman, inside and out. She rides into town and sweeps Mary-Beth right off her feet and into her bed. I love her (I know I’m not supposed to say that because I wrote her, but I really do!) and I hope you do too.

Let'sRideCompleted teaser

So here’s the blurb:

“I would do just about anything to be on the back of that bike when she leaves this place.”

Trapped in a small town life, Mary-Beth always knew there was something better out there. Then Jo rides into town and walks straight into the diner where she works. Sexy, dominant and self-assured, Jo is everything Mary-Beth wishes she could be. Their hot, intense meeting crashes through Mary-Beth’s small world and offers her the promise of a new start.

Will Mary-Beth leave everything behind and ride with Jo towards the chance of a new life?

Excerpt:

Standing by the window, I’m trying to take a lunch time customer’s order but my attention is caught by a bike riding into the gas pump out front.

I hold my breath. She is pretty much everything that I wish I could be. Tall and lean. Enough fuck you attitude to tame a horde of marauding Vikings. She straddles that bike like she was born to it, like she never rode a trike. Like she just stepped right onto all that horsepower and with a flick of her wrists rode off into the sunset, giving everyone the finger as she went.

I would do just about anything to be on the back of that bike when she leaves this place.

She kicks the stand and moves the bike smoothly into its stationary position, slinging her long leg over the back wheel.

I jump a little when our eyes meet through the window. I’m supposed to be taking this guy’s order but I got distracted, seriously distracted. She smirks when her eyes roam over the redness in my cheeks.

Heat has suffused my body; a fine sweat has broken out on my skin and I know I’m in trouble. So much trouble.

I manage to scramble my brain sufficiently to take his order and drop it off at the kitchen. Moving around the bar, I grab the coffee pot to do refills. I can’t stop looking at the door.

Will she come in? Or has she just come for gas?

Please let her come in.

I want to see her up close—I want to see her eyes—that flawless skin. I want to run my fingers over the black shaved hair on the sides of her head, run them through the longer top that she has greased back. I want to watch her eyes close with the pleasure of it.

I hold my nerve when I hear the bell ring over the door. I’m pouring coffee—it really wouldn’t do to spill it and burn a customer. I’m bent over slightly to reach the cup, and my skirt brushes against the back of my legs when she walks past me.

I smile distractedly as the customer thanks me, turning my head to see she has taken a seat at the bar.

Walking over on shaky legs, I smooth my damp palms down the front of my uniform apron.

She sits tall, resting her elbows on the counter. Her legs are open, one heel of her heavy black boots hooked higher on the stool than the other. Her jeans are tight, riding low on slim hips, well worn with a small rip over one knee. A tight white t-shirt stops a few inches from the waistband of her jeans, showing smooth lightly tanned skin that I desperately want to touch.

Her knowing gaze follows me as I move around the bar to face her. I can almost feel a pressure on my skin where it touches me.

“What can I get for you?”

“What have you got?” she asks in a low, husky voice. Her eyes lock on mine. Her eyebrows are like a raven’s wings, perfectly shaped, drawing my attention across her arresting face.

“Pretty much anything, as long as it’s deep fried and unhealthy,” I say wryly.

She laughs. The sound is low and rough and strokes over my nipples.

“Always tastes good, though, don’t it?” she replies. That smirk plays across her mouth again as her gaze drops to my lips. “I’ll just take a coffee for now. Think I’ll get something sweet in a little while…”

Michelle Roth Introduces Her Latest Series (@mroth_author)

Hi there, everyone! I’m Michelle Roth and I’m here to introduce my latest release, Bite Me. It’s the second in my vampire paranormal series, The Transfigured Ones. Magnus Corbett, my hero, was modeled a bit after Gordon Ramsey. I wanted him to be a rough around the edges guy who didn’t necessarily have time for love. I knew, whoever I matched him with would either need to be a bad ass chick who didn’t take any crap.. or she’d need to be so sweet that she called to the softer side of him. Caroline Lundquist is both of those things.

If you’ve got any questions about the book, for me as the author, or about the series in general, feel free to use the #transfiguredones hash tag and I’ll do my best to answer!

Bite MeBlurb:

Magnus Corbett is the world renowned head chef for Usquebaugh, the wildly popular restaurant and whiskey bar inside the Foxwood Hotel and Casino. He’s certain that it was his status as one of the Transfigured that put him on the map. It will be bold flavors and his tireless work ethic that keep him there. And, if he has to be a little blunt to get things done? So be it.

When bar manager, Caroline Lundquist, develops a line of cocktails to breathe some life into the drink menu, she’s determined to have new gin-inspired dishes to pair with them. During their collaboration she finds herself falling for the side of Magnus that people rarely see. He’s sweet. Compassionate. Caring. As they begin to navigate the perils of a vampire-human relationship, both of their pasts crop up, threatening to destroy everything they’re working so hard to build together.

  1. If you had a free day with no responsibilities and your only mission was to enjoy yourself, what would you do?Free time? What’s that? I don’t get much, but I prefer to fiddle in the kitchen or read a book. I deal with people day in and day out, so when it comes to my downtime, I can be a bit selfish.
  2. What impression do you make on people when they first meet you? How about after they’ve known you for a while?I’ve lived a long time. If I expend any time or energy on someone, I tend to expect a lot. I try to weed out the assholes, liars, and other bad apples. People probably find that incredibly abrasive. In the end, once I feel like I can trust someone, they know that I’m loyal. My own family kind of checked out on me, so I sort of make my own.
  3. What’s your idea of a good marriage? Do you think that’ll happen in your life?I grew up in a typical stodgy British home. I doubt my parents even liked each other, let alone loved each other. I haven’t a clue what makes a good marriage. I’d hold on to it tightly if I ever thought I found it, though.
  4. What are you most proud of about your life?I’m a world renowned chef. I can work anywhere I choose. I did that in spite of this being a non-Transfigured dominated industry.

 – And what about something more personal?

Living your dream? Making something out of nothing? How is that not personal? Did you write these bloody questions?

– Why is that so meaningful to you?

I did it completely on my own. My family kicked me when I was seventeen. I managed to finish high school and go to culinary school on my own. There was no silver spoon or college fund. I did it on my own.

  1. What are you most ashamed of in your life?I could have been nicer to people, looking back. I don’t always have to be so abrupt. I find it easier, though. I definitely could have been nicer.
  2. If you could spend the day with someone you admire (living or dead or imaginary), who would you pick?Auguste Escoffier. The man was bloody brilliant. I’d love to sit down and pick his brain.
  3. Do you think you’ve turned out the way your parents expected?I don’t think they had much hope for me. They pretty much checked out of my life when they found out I was Transfigured. Then they fought for the next decade or so about who had the faulty genetics. I don’t think they thought much about me at all. I’d love to say I didn’t think of them, but it would be a lie. I do. And it’s not kindly.
  4. What do you believe about God? What do you suppose God thinks of you? There’s a lot of pain and suffering in the world. People get sick. People lose loved ones to horrible accidents. Meanwhile, there are some of us who live forever whether we want to or not. It doesn’t seem fair. I’m not sure a kind and loving god would do something like that.
  5. Is there anything you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t done? What would happen if you did it?It’s been roughly forty years since I’ve been to the beach during the day. I’d love to do that but it would destroy my skin and eventually kill me. Painful.
  6. What’s the worst thing that’s happened in your life? What did you learn from it?I’d probably say that my family is the worst thing to happen to me. What kind of awful parents withhold love from a child because of a genetic defect they can’t control? No matter whether my children are Transfigured or not, I’d love them. That’s what I learned, I guess. Tolerance.
  7. Tell me about your best friend.Veronica is my best friend and my sous chef. She’s probably one of the few people who puts up with my crap. I trust her implicitly. She’s probably the closest thing that I have to a sister.
  8. What’s the worst thing you’ve ever done to someone? Why?Despite the fact I’m a bit of a prick sometimes, I don’t intentionally hurt people. I’ve had to fire a few wayward souls, but that’s about it. They either stole, lied, or didn’t know their ass from a hole in the ground.
  9. What would you like it to say on your tombstone?Since we pretty much just turn to a pile of ash, a tombstone seems a bit much.
  10. Describe your ideal mate. She’d need to be strong. Someone who didn’t take any of my garbage. She’d have to be engaging. A good conversationalist. Well read. Smart. Funny. Beautiful wouldn’t hurt but it’s not a prerequisite. Not a bloody stick figure. She’d need to enjoy eating, because I would enjoy cooking for her. Taking care of her in that way.
  11. What are you most afraid of? Being alone for eternity. The usual suspects.
  12. What’s the most important thing in your life? What do you value most?My space. I can only handle so much social interaction, so having my personal space is hugely important. I feel like, with time alone, I recharge.
  13. What do you like best about yourself? Least?I’m driven to succeed. I prefer to be solitary most of the time. I know that’s not exactly healthy.
  14. How do you feel about your life right now? What, if anything, would you like to change?I’ve got a good life, for the most part. I’m happy with my career. I’d like to find someone to settle down with, though.
  15. Are you lying to yourself about something? What is it?There’s a part of me that wishes that I wasn’t so solitary, that wants to be outgoing and friendly. I want to be social, and happy go lucky. I just don’t trust people.
  16. What trait do you most deplore in others?People who lack common sense. Critical thinking skills are important in life, and there are people who don’t develop them or refuse to. Drives me bloody mad!

Victoria Blisse’s newest BDSM novella is available for Pre-order at Totally Bound now. It’s the story of a shy vanilla woman and how she meets the only man she’s ever wanted to submit to. Felicity discovers her kinky side with the help of a Man she only knows as ‘Sir.’

 somethingbrave_800_2

Blurb:

Blushing, hesitant Felicity does something incredibly brave and submits to a man she only knows as Sir, but will his demands push her beyond her limits?

Felicity attends the local burlesque fair just to sell her Quietly Cute jewelry. A handsome stranger offers to spank her, and she surprises herself by submitting. Sir makes her choose the implement he will use to take her spanking virginity—and uses it to great effect.

She finds herself becoming the sexy, self-made billionaire’s sub, who is punished with bondage, forced into exhibitionism, hot wax and other delicious tortures. Felicity submits willingly, becoming braver with every interaction. But when Samuel offers her the means to establish her business and pulls her out of the poverty she lives in, she snaps, seeing it as an insult to her pride and possibly even a payment for her sexual services.

Can Samuel convince her otherwise, or will she walk out of his life forever?

General Release Date: 17th November 2015

Excerpt:

“Oh, I think of you all the time, Felicity. When I’m meant to be concentrating on the figures, one…” She felt an explosion of heat just above her belly button a second after he paused, and she gasped and pulled her stomach in.

“Two.” Another drop landed a little higher, between her ribs, and she felt the two hot impact spots melting together into a river of warmth.

“Well, you get the idea.”

She heard the mirth in his voice. He was enjoying watching her squirm. Another drop of wax splashed between her breasts. The impact burned, and she writhed against her bonds. It wasn’t nice, it wasn’t pleasant, but the warmth and the condensing pull of the cooling wax was strangely sensual. She wanted more as much as she wanted it to stop.

“I think of you over breakfast, whenever I see a pretty item of jewelery, when I look out of my office window, when I touch my desk. I see you there, stretched out and eager for your spanking. I think about you when I pick up my briefcase, when I loosen my tie. All the time, Felicity. You’re always on my mind.”

She heard a rasp, sensed movement beside her. Had he put the candle down?

“I get overwhelmed by thoughts of you all the time.”

Another dribble landed at the top of her left breast and the drop turned into a stream that burned a trail down to just before her nipple. She clenched her teeth, expecting the burning to explode on her sensitive nub, but it didn’t. She relaxed.

“Another confession, Felicity. When I think of you, I get turned on.”

When she insists it’s no problem and offers to be their sub, visions of blindfolds, collars and her sweet surrender dance in their heads, along with the longing they’ve fought.

Oh baby. The battle’s just begun during a smoking-hot weekend on a private island.

About Tina (You know you want to know!):

I’m an award-winning, bestselling novelist in erotic, paranormal, contemporary and historical romance for Kensington, Samhain Publishing, Ellora’s Cave, Siren Publishing, Booktrope, Luminosity, Decadent, and indie. Yay! Booklist, Publisher’s Weekly, Romantic Times and numerous online sites have praised my work, and trust me, I’m forever grateful for that. I’ve had my books reach finals in the EPIC competition, one title was named Book of the Year at a review site, and others have won awards in RWA-sponsored contests. I’m actually featured in the 2012 Novel & Short Story Writer’s Market. Talk about feeling like a freaking star. Before my writing career, I was the editor of an award–winning Midwestern newspaper and worked in Story Direction for a Hollywood production company. Outside of being an admitted and unrepentant chocoholic, I’ve flown a single-engine plane (scary stuff), rewired an old house using an electricity for dummies book, and have been known to moan like Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally whenever I’m eating anything Mexican or Italian. Yeah, I like to eat (burp).

You can check me out here – yes, I am everywhere!  🙂
