Sexy Spy Thriller, Hiding in Plain Sight, Now Available in #Audiobook Format! #audio #audible

Hi everyone,

I’m delighted to announce that my sexy spy thriller novel, Hiding in Plain Sight, is now also available in audiobook format! It’s narrated by the fabulous Poppy Jay Fox, and you can grab your copy from Audible, Amazon or iTunes now if you enjoy listening to your stories as well as, or instead of, reading them!

Here’s a reminder of what it’s all about:

Mallory Scott is a British espionage operative—and a damn good one, at that. Her current assignment to bring down a group of diamond thieves and scammers should be a piece of cake. She plans to get her claws into one of the gang, infiltrate the group, and uncover the information she needs to catch and prosecute them. Luck is on her side, and within twenty-four hours she’s lunching with Baxter Collinson, the youngest—and most handsome—diamond thief. What she’s not expecting, however, is to get on with him quite so well. Attraction bubbles between them—and for once, on Mallory’s part, it isn’t an act. For the first time in her career, Mallory struggles with what she must do. Can she ignore her heart for the sake of the mission?

Mid Week Tease: She mentally shook herself. #MWTease

mid-week-tease-buttonHi everyone,

Welcome back to Mid Week Tease! As I mentioned last week, I’m now moving onto something new. So, without further ado, I’d like to introduce my next novel, Mia’s Men. It’s a reverse harem romance, the first in The Heiress’s Harem series, and is due for release on the 23rd January, and is available to pre-order. This is an UNEDITED snippet, so please excuse any errors.

Mia's MenMia Harrington thanked James, her father’s butler—her butler now, she supposed—as she stood from behind her father’s desk—now also hers, to welcome her visitor.

ā€œMr Lenton. Thank you so much for coming, and on such short notice. Please, come in, and take a seat. Would you like something to drink? Tea, coffee, water?ā€

The grey-haired, bespectacled man gave a tight smile and bustled over to the chair Mia had indicated. ā€œThank you, Miss Harrington. A glass of water would be fine.ā€ He took a seat, then began removing files and papers from his briefcase and placing them on the desk.

Once Mia had delivered two glasses of water to the desk and taken her own seat, the solicitor fixed her with what was undoubtedly an often-practised solemn expression. ā€œThank you. May I firstly offer my sincere condolences on the loss of your father? He was a wonderful man, and he will be greatly missed.ā€

Mia barely resisted the temptation to roll her eyes. She’d received so many condolences and expressions of sympathy in the last thirty hours that she was in danger of drowning in them. In many ways, of course, she deeply appreciated them—it was heart-warming and offered the merest sliver of comfort to know that she wasn’t the only one who’d loved Edward Harrington and genuinely mourned his loss.

It was the sound-bite condolences that drove her crazy, from people that had barely known him, and those she’d never even heard of, let alone met. How could it possibly help Mia to know that Mrs Pipes from the post office in the village was terribly sorry for her loss? And it would only get worse once the death announcement went into the newspaper.

She mentally shook herself. While Mrs Pipes might not matter, Mr Lenton most definitely did. He had been her father’s solicitor for many years now, and was here to discuss her father’s will with her. And, although she’d much rather not be dealing with the fallout, would much rather Edward Harrington was the one in the office with her right now, poring over paperwork; in the absence of a time machine or a magic wand, she had no choice. She had to hear what her father’s wishes were, and carry them out to the very best of her ability.

Pre-order Mia’s Men here (the book will be withdrawn from the other retailers a few days after release to go Amazon exclusive, so if you shop elsewhere, I highly recommend bagging your copy sooner rather than later): https://www.lucyfelthouse.co.uk/published-works/mias-men/

Mid Week Tease: “That would be fantastic.” #MWTease

mid-week-tease-buttonHi everyone,

Welcome back to Mid Week Tease! Here’s another tease from my story inĀ Moonlight Magic, a paranormal boxed set which just released. My story is calledĀ The Accidental Adoption. This will be the last tease from this story now – I’m going to move onto something else next week.

Moonlight MagicThe duster fell from Rosie’s free hand as she brought it to her mouth. Her heart raced, but she forced herself to reply, before Janice thought she was crazy, or a time waster. ā€œYes!ā€ She lowered her voice. ā€œSorry, yes. I’m definitely still interested. What’s the process?ā€

ā€œGreat. Well, we’d have to do a home checkā€¦ā€ She went on to outline the adoption process, and Rosie took all the information in, nodding enthusiastically throughout, despite the fact Janice couldn’t see her.

She finished with, ā€œā€¦and providing all that goes okay, you could potentially be welcoming Scruffy into your home within a matter of days.ā€

ā€œThat would be fantastic. I’d love to adopt him. Let’s get started!ā€

Mid Week Tease: “Hello, is this Rosie?” #MWTease

mid-week-tease-buttonHi everyone,

Welcome back to Mid Week Tease! Here’s another tease from my story inĀ Moonlight Magic, a paranormal boxed set which just released. My story is calledĀ The Accidental Adoption. I hope you’ll check it out! (Note to my fellow MWT authors – I apologise for not getting round to your posts last week – time ran away from me!)

Moonlight MagicThree and a half weeks later

Rosie was right in the middle of a hearty rendition of ABBA’s Super Trouper as she dusted her living room when her mobile phone rang—cutting out the music, since it was being played through her iPhone. She jumped and gasped, then retrieved the device from the docking station. She looked at the number on the screen and frowned. It had a local area code, but other than that, she didn’t recognize it. With a shrug, she pressed the green button.
ā€œHello?ā€

ā€œHello, is this Rosie?ā€

ā€œSpeaking.ā€

ā€œOh, hi. This is Janice, from the rescue center. We spoke a few weeks ago, about Scruffy?ā€

Rosie’s eyes widened and her stomach flipped. ā€œY-yes, that’s right. Is he…?ā€ Is he what? She didn’t really know what she wanted to ask—mainly because she had a million questions—so she didn’t continue.

ā€œHe’s fine,ā€ Janice said warmly, clearly picking up on Rosie’s concern. ā€œI’m just calling with an update, as promised. Since we last spoke, we’ve been trying hard to find his owners, but no one has come forward. He’s also had a health check—which he passed with flying colors—and has now been immunized and micro-chipped. So basically, what I’m saying is, are you still interested in adopting him?ā€
