Fun Factory SmartBalls Teneo DuoThe lovely lot at Sh! Women’s Erotic Emporium sent me some love eggs/love balls to try out. And here they are: the Fun Factory SmartBalls Teneo Duo. Yes, quite the mouthful… but that’s not where they go! 😉

No, these little babies are to put… well, up *there.* They have a couple of uses: they can tighten up your bits after childbirth; give you longer stronger orgasms; or they can make you feel a bit naughty. So really, they’re capable of multi-tasking and will make you smile.

Some women wear these as a game, that is, they’ll wear them out somewhere, and feel smug in the knowledge that they’re getting pleasure out of them and nobody else even knows they’re there! Or they’ll let on to their other half and enjoy the shocked reaction. Which, let’s be honest, will probably pretty quickly turn to arousal… so a bonus all round really!

I think the idea of love balls/eggs is great, but the reality isn’t so hot with this particular model. Normally, Fun Factory stuff is fab, and there’s no denying that these SmartBalls are really well made. It’s just that they’re not that comfortable. They feel sturdy, and the loop for removing them feels strong enough that it won’t snap if your lady bits give some resistance. However, the actual ‘balls’ are quite large, and not very smooth. For this reason they’re not very easy to insert and can scrape against your most delicate parts both on insertion and removal, which naturally isn’t ideal.

A shame, really, because the idea of exercise balls is great, and the manufacturer has a great reputation, it’s just this particular model doesn’t really live up to expectations. These might suit some women, but those of you who are like me and enjoy comfort, particularly in matters of the downstairs, you might want to give these a miss.

The new and improved toy is excellent. I’ve seen a few remote controlled vibrators and rabbits in the past, and they’ve always seemed a little cheap and tacky, and like they’d break easily. The G-Pulse Remote, however, is typical Ann Summers – high quality and built to last. It looks good, appears to be robust and is, of course, orgasmic!

The vibe, although it has quite a large girth, is still good for small girls as the shaft is very pliable and bendy, so it feels comfortable once it’s ‘up there.’ When manoeuvred into place, the end of the shaft should be doing a lovely job of tickling your g-spot. Product Review: Whiz Freedom

Wizz FreedomNot my usual kind of product review, I know, but nevertheless I think women will love the Whiz Freedom. You see, it’s a gadget that means you can whiz/wee/pee/urinate/whatever-word-you-use in public without getting your bottom out.

Basically, you hold the Whiz firmly against your lady parts and let your tinkle go. It’s great for people who go walking and camping, and even for avoiding having to sit on yucky public toilets!

It’s tricky to get the hang of, more because once you first try and use it, you’re convinced it won’t work and that you’re going to wet yourself. The Ann Summers RO-120MM Big Bullet is a fairly scary looking thing. It’s the big brother to Ann Summers’ famous silver bullet, which you’ll generally see sat by tills in the stores as the perfect add on sale. This toy, however, is much less of an impulse purchase.

At £20, the bullet isn’t cheap. However, it’s incredibly well made, with the aforementioned 5 functions, lots of power and easy-to-source batteries. To switch it on, you simply press the purple button on the end. Pressing it again will change the function. You just press once to cycle through each function. To switch it off, you press and hold the button for two seconds.

I have to disagree with the ‘quiet’ feature mentioned on the Ann Summers website. It’s quiet compared to some of your noisier rabbits, but noisier than most bullets. You could probably stifle it under your duvet – guess it depends how good the hearing is of the people you live with! Other than that, it’s a pretty good buy. It’s really very powerful and will send most women soaring to orgasm in no time. Then you’ve got the multiple options of how to play with it: anal play, foreplay, massage… the possibilities are endless. It’s a great toy for experimentation, but it also does the job it’s designed for.

Given the fact it takes batteries which are much easier to get hold of than the ones in your average bullet, I’d happily recommend this. If you’re looking for something discreet for your handbag, then I’d probably go for a smaller version, but if not – you could do much worse than this!

Product Review: Ann Summers New Swimwear

Ann Summers SwimwearAnn Summers had fab timing when they decided to send me some new swimwear to review – I go on holiday in a few weeks’ time. They kindly sent me the bikini (pictured, the briefs match the bra), which is called Paradise Beach. They also sent the cover-up skirt/dress in the photo.

Designed to be worn as either a skirt or a dress, the cover-up has a really nice shape at the front with some extra material which is great for helping cover up all those lumps and bumps!

The bikini itself is lovely – really, really pretty and sexy, and also very well made. The top is gel-filled, which obviously not all of us women need, but for those that do like an extra boost, it’s fabulous!

The pants aren’t too skimpy either, so if you’re a bit conscious of your body, then don’t worry, you’re not flaunting it too much in this ensemble. And of course, if you’re feeling a bit exposed, just slip on your cover-up! You’ll be a pool/beach goddess in your lovely Ann Summers gear. Trouble is, it’s so sexy you might not manage to get to the beach/pool, as your fella might drag you back to bed!

Another bonus is that as the bikini is purchased in two separate parts, it’s more likely to fit! Bikinis which just come in a size 14/16 drive me mad, as I’d need a larger top and smaller bottoms – this way, you get exactly what size you need!
