Beanies are Hot by Nancy Corrigan (@nancy_corrigan)

One of my favorite articles of clothing a guy could wear is a hat. Whether it’s a baseball cap, beanie or cowboy hat, the effect is the same. For me, there’s a sense of mystery surrounding a guy when his head is covered. My fingers always itch with the urge to pull his hat off and uncover what’s hidden. Will he have a short military cut? Or chin-length hair? Is it curly, straight or wavy? What about the color? Sometimes strands will peek out giving a hint. Still, I often wonder what hues will show up in the sunlight. The possibilities are endless and those wayward pieces of hair tease everyone who ends up doing a double-take when he walks by.

Playing with your guy’s hair can be a great foreplay too. Just the act of tugging off the material hiding his hair can be sensual. Hold him close and slowly inch the cap off or rip it away—either approach will work. I love running my fingers through hair and most guys love the intimate caress too. Hold his gaze, massage his scalp and you’ll have his entire focus. After that… Well, I’m sure you can figure out what to do then.

Devin, the hero in Beautiful Mistake, loves to have his hair petted, twisted or pulled. As long as his chosen mate touches him, he doesn’t care what she does to him.

So what do you think of his cover image? Are you dying to rip his beanie away?

Nancy CorriganAbout Me

I’ve always been an avid reader and encourage everyone to escape the hectic daily grind with a few minutes a day in your favorite book.

I’m lucky enough to share my cat’s home with my three wonderful children, husband, dog and snake. When not writing, I work as a chemist in a pharmaceutical lab.

My passions beyond reading and family include music, classic cars, tattoos and animals (all of which have found their way into my writing in one form or another).

So that’s a little bit about me…

Nancy

Interview with Annabeth Albert (@annabethalbert)

I’m happy to introduce Annabeth Albert to my site for the first time. Find out more about her, her books and ponytailed hotties…

Move MeTell us about yourself. Both your writing self and your non-writing self. What are your interests and hobbies? Do you have a day job, etc?

My writing self writes both m/f and m/m erotic romance. I joke that I write “heart warming smut” as my stories are both sweet and just a little naughty. In the past I’ve written contemporary romance and young adult romance before finding a home on the spicy side of things.  I’m married with two young kids and I’m an adjunct professor. Does Twitter count as a hobby? I’m a frequent late-night tweeter. I’m a sports junkie and can’t wait for the winter Olympics to start. Oh and I’m a compulsive knitter—I hate just sitting without something to do.

Give us the background on your latest release.

When I saw that EC wanted more married stories, I immediately knew that I wanted to do one. The question of what happens AFTER a happy ending has always fascinated me, and I wanted to look at the hard work it takes to keep happily-ever-after going. I also knew that I wanted a story where the conflict didn’t center around cheating temptation. I wanted an average couple finding their way back from okay to fabulous.

How did you get started with writing? And what was your route to publication like?

I started writing my first book in 2003 while I was in graduate school. I finally finished that book in 2005, and while it didn’t sell, I discovered RWA and the awesome community of romance writers. I went onto to write another four books that still live under my bed. Then in 2012 I decided to see what would happen if I upped the spicy content in my writing. A few months later, I sold book #6 to Ellora’s Cave and book #7 to MLR press. My path to publication was lined with hundreds of rejection letters and close calls. Having five books not sell was really disheartening, and I was tempted to give up writing at several points. But I’m glad I kept on it.

What are you currently working on?

I have a full-length m/m erotic romance featuring a music reality show, a bad boy, and a kinky virgin hero that is currently on submission along with a m/m novella about a barista with a crush on one of his customers. Right now I’m working on a m/m friends-to-lovers story.

Do you have a particular Muse for your writing? Do any of your characters bear startling resemblances to sexy celebrities or people you admire?

My muse can be fickle so I beat her into submission by making myself do something related to my WIP every day. I use Pandora and copious amounts of coffee to coax her into cooperating. Sometimes a particular picture or celebrity may influence my brainstorming but most of the time I have an idea then go hunt down some images to help things along.

Where do you see yourself in five years? Both writing-wise and non-writing-wise?

I have young kids so I have trouble thinking that far ahead. Writing wise I want to get faster, more productive, and have a decent sized backlist in five years.

And now for some silly questions…

Muscled or skinny? Both? I am an equal opportunity appreciator of body types J

Tall or short? I love tall heroes, but I’ve also got a soft spot for height challenged heroes like Lorelei James’ Chasin’ Eight.

Boxers or briefs? Boxers.

Moustache or beard? Beard. If you’re going to go fuzzy, go bold!

Long hair or shaven head? Both! I’m married to a pony-tailed hottie, but I love bald-by-choice too.

Tattoos or piercings? Ink is sexier than steel to me!

Intelligent or funny? Both! A girl can dream!

Blond, brunette or red head? All three 🙂 But I love a great ginger hero!

Hottest celebrity (tell us why, if you like)? Jamie on Mythbusters. A hot, commanding nerd who knows how to use explosives? Yes, please!

Top same-sex crush (or opposite sex if you already like same-sex!) Reese Witherspoon—I’ve loved her since Man in the Moon back in the 90s.

Most disliked celebrity (tell us why, if you like) Duck Dynasty

Favourite food—Mangoes!

Favourite book (tell us why, if you like) Just one? Really? Promises by Marie Sexton is very high on my list because it was the first m/m I read, and it opened up a whole new world for me.

Favourite place in the world (tell us why, if you like)—My bed because I see too little of it!

Anything else you’d like to add? I love making new friends on twitter @AnnabethAlbert and facebook! See my contact deets below!

Excerpt:

“The last time I was covered in whipped cream, I wasn’t wearing quite so many clothes.” Jill snagged a stray red cup as she rounded up discarded plates and forks. A shout echoed from the living room followed by the sounds of electronic violence. “And I definitely didn’t have a house of teens.”

Bree made a strangled sound. “Jill á la mode?”

Jill glanced over at her friend, who’d collapsed onto one of the bar stools. Jill leaned back against the granite breakfast bar, surveying the damage wrought by a dozen eighth graders in under an hour. The kids had abandoned the open kitchen-great room space in favor of the video games in the living room—no matter what their architect had intended, there were no “formal” spaces in the house, only varying distributions of the kids’ stuff.

“What?” Jill’s cheeks heated. Maybe she had been far too long without adult conversation. “Don’t tell me you’ve never had fun with sundae toppings.”

“Oh, I have.” Bree’s smile of newlywed contentment made Jill grind her teeth.

Jealousy? A low ache bloomed in her gut. Oh yeah, she was jealous. But she couldn’t let that show. She straightened her smile and lightened her voice. “And probably a whole lot wilder in Barbados. You didn’t even get a honeymoon tan.”

“I just can’t picture…” Bree trailed off, cheeks pinkening. “Not that I picture you and Mark at all… I mean, I never thought of you guys as being… Oh crap. I’ll just shut up now.” She buried her face in her arms.

“What? We don’t seem like the wild monkey-sex types?” Not anymore, at least.

And when had that changed? She’d never been the type to kiss and brag in the carpool lineup, but she and Mark had good sex. And okay, maybe it wasn’t the wild, over-the-top, sweaty marathon of their twenties, but it was good. Except when it wasn’t anything at all. She grabbed a dishtowel and scrubbed at a nonexistent stain on the beige granite.

“We need wine.” Bree gestured to the bottle she’d brought, which sported a little bow and card—Mom needs a birthday present too! She grabbed two plastic cups from the stack of party things.

“What? Are we seventeen?” Jill snatched the cups away and returned them to the counter. Tonight she felt every minute of the five years separating their ages—her bones hurt and, unlike Bree, she didn’t have a sexy excuse. “I’ve got real glasses.” Somewhere.

She snared the footstool, then stretched to reach the top shelf. Somehow an assortment of plastic tumblers and thermoses had relegated her good crystal to the cheap seats behind a turkey platter. Thanksgiving. That was the last time we used the good dishes and served wine.

Feeling more boring by the second, she poured a generous amount of wine into two glasses.

“These are pretty.” Bree twirled her glass, looking at the lines of color snaking up the stem, glinting from deep inside the crystal.

“They were a wedding present from my dad.” Looking at the glasses, Jill could almost hear the rustle of satin and the smell of chrysanthemums and feel the weight of her father’s hand as he’d told her how proud her mother would have been. Other women always talked about how nervous they’d been on their wedding days. Not her. She’d never been more sure of anything in her life. “Fifteen years ago this year.”

Bree’s eyes narrowed, and Jill could see her friend doing the math in her head.

“Yeah,” Jill said. “Mallory was a bit of an early wedding present. Mark’s mother swears she was the biggest preemie she’s ever seen. Married in October, baby by Easter.”

“Cheers.” Bree raised her glass. “To the happiest couple I know.”

“Other than you and Jack.”

“Other than me and Jack.” Bree’s smug smile was back and so was Jill’s ache. “But really—you guys are totally my inspiration. Fifteen years. Three kids. And apparently you still know your way around a can of Reddi-whip.”

Not anytime lately. Jill took a healthy swallow of wine, the oaky  flavor making her throat tighten and her eyes sting. Or maybe that was from the effort of not confessing to Bree how wrong her assumption was. No, she’s not wrong. Mark and I are happy. We are.

Texas Heat from Denysé Bridger

Texas HeatThis story came into existence via a strange route. When I write cowboys, I tend to write them historically. I’ve had an on-going love affair with the Old West my entire life, my first heroes were cowboys. I saw a call from Delilah Devlin on Facebook, and she was requesting submissions for an anthology called Cowboy Heat. So, I decided to see if I could write a modern cowboy. In the end, the story wasn’t what she was looking for, and I took another look at it. It’s now about 2500 words longer, and while it remains a short story, it’s one with a sexy kick. Chase was a fascinating challenge as a large part of the story is written from his point of view, but I really like this story and I hope readers will enjoy this hot hero as much as I enjoyed creating him.

Thanks, Lucy, for allowing me to introduce your readers to my latest bit of fun!

He senses complications he wants no part of if he gets too close to her, and part of his soul is very much at home on the Double D. When an old boyfriend of Cheyenne’s goads him into a fight, his anger put him on all kinds of edge–and Cheyenne’s determination to turn up the Texas Heat get her in over her head…

Chase has warned her, he doesn’t play nice. When she ignores his invitation to leave, she puts herself at the mercy of his anger, his lust, and the most explosive passion she’s ever experienced… But what happens when the “job” is over, and Chase turns his back on her again? Memories are waking, the kind that will change both their lives in dramatic ways.

Excerpt:

“Miss MacKenzie,” he said.

She walked around the truck and looked at him.

The speculative look in her eyes kissed the back of his neck with a tingle of uncertainty. He was always edgy around her, like something was close but still eluding him. He didn’t like it.

“It’s Cheyenne, Chase,” she reminded him.

He nodded. They’d done this dance a time or two before. There was something too familiar about her, but he couldn’t pin it down. The now customary flare of annoyance woke inside him. Half his damn past was missing since he’d come home from Iraq. Maybe he’d known her once, though he couldn’t imagine forgetting someone like her. “Something I can do for you, ma’am?”

She laughed and dropped the tailgate on the pickup, bending over with what he knew was deliberate intent. There was no denying the appeal of her well-shaped ass in the tight jeans, and his cock twitched in response. She turned, tossed him a beer, and sat on the tailgate looking at him while she took a swig of her own drink.

Chase opened the can of beer and drank half of it. He strolled to the truck, braced his arm casually on the side as he stared at her. “You haven’t answered my question, Cheyenne.”

She twisted around until she faced him, and cradled the cooler between her breasts. Her nipples were clearly outlined and pushing against the thin cotton of her tank-top.

He met her candid stare and grinned at the challenge in her expression.

“Why don’t you like people, Chase?”

“I like people just fine, ma’am,” he said. “I just prefer my own company to that of idiots.”

She considered his reply then shrugged. “Do you consider me an idiot, Chase?”

He laughed. “No, ma’am.”

“Good answer,” she said.

“I have work to do, Cheyenne.” He finished his beer and tossed the can into the ice-filled hamper containing the rest of the six-pack she’d brought with her.

“You work for me, too, Chase,” she reminded him softly.

He took a long look at her, his appraisal meant to be offensive and blatant.

At only a little over five feet tall, Chey was stacked and curvy in all the right places. Her long auburn hair was tied back in a simple ponytail, and she wore no makeup.

He dropped his gaze to her breasts, fingertips tingling as he contemplated what her skin would feel like, and taste like if he leaned in and took one of her ripe nipples into his mouth. She slid a little bit closer to him and he shook off the heat that was building inside him. “Thanks for the beer, ma’am. I’ll be getting back to my work now.”

He would have left but she grabbed his arm and he was too aware of the pebbled point of her nipple brushing against his bicep.

“I want?”

He put a finger over her lips, silencing her as he shook his head. “Baby, I know what you want, but I’m not playing that game.”

She slid her hand along the front of his jeans, stopping to squeeze hard and his cock reacted instantly and pushed against the heavy denim.

“I want you to fuck me, Chase,” she whispered, her gaze locked with his, the glint in her dark eyes a clear dare. “I think you want it, too.”

He smiled and let the predator in his nature emerge in his expression. More than one woman had backed off when his smile went dark and warning.

Cheyenne’s eyes widened, but she didn’t back down. Her chest rose and fell as her breaths quickened with obvious excitement.

“You don’t know what you’re asking for, Cheyenne,” he told her. “I don’t play nice.”

“Maybe I don’t want nice?” she said, uncertainty in her words.

He needed to push her away while he still had some control over the situation. He took the bottle she’d been clutching and tossed it aside, grabbed her ponytail and eased her head back, exposing the graceful curve of her neck. Leaning in, he licked the smooth hollow at the base of her throat, smiling against her skin when the tang of sweetness and sweat touched his tongue. “You have no idea how tempting you are, Cheyenne, but I like my job here, so you have to go.”

She moved her head a bit, what her restricted freedom would allow. When she laughed, the whisper of her breath fanned across his skin. “I’m not going anywhere, Chase.”

“Yes, honey,” he paused, smiled, and finished, “you are.” He let go of her and stepped back, adjusting his jeans as he fought down his arousal. “I have work to do, and fucking you isn’t part of my job.”

Delicious Torment from Alison Tyler (@alisontyler)

I’m delighted to welcome Alison Tyler to my blog today to give us a tantalising teaser from her new novel, The Delicious Torment.

The Delicious TormentIn The Delicious Torment, Sam falls down the rabbit hole. That is, if the rabbit hole is a new term for a glistening pit of jealousy. She not only has to learn to deal with her own desires, but she has to decide whether she can deal with Jack’s. That is, if what Jack wants isn’t only her. If what Jack desires is Alex, as well. How does she do? Well, see for yourself…

What the fuck? I thought. Oh, Jesus. What was going on?

Jack stood behind Alex, and he had a flogger in place. My mind tripped over itself in a mad rush to explain the situation. But my pussy didn’t need any explanation. I grew instantly wet at the sight, as I realized I hadn’t seen Jack in action like this before. Not outside of gazing into a mirror while he punished me, making me watch while he tanned my ass for me.

This was different. Jack was in charge of someone else’s pain. Someone else’s ultimate pleasure. Have I ever felt such a surge of white-hot jealousy before? I can’t think of a time. My stomach twisted, but my sex responded as strongly as if Jack had picked up a flogger and walked toward me.

Alex didn’t say a word. Didn’t make a sound. Jack leaned forward, so that his strong chest pressed firmly against Alex’s naked back, and I could imagine the words he was whispering in Alex’s ear. I told myself that this was about me—about Alex being unable to tail me proficiently. But that was only the story I made up for myself. I had no idea what the true dynamic was between these two men. I’d come into their game late. Alex had been working for Jack since his senior year in college. They had history I couldn’t begin to unravel.

Jack took a step back and started to work, and I saw Alex’s muscles tighten and release upon each blow. The room was starting to fill up as more guests arrived. There were a host of devices in the room, and I could hear different sounds as other slaves were buckled into place, or whipped, or chastised. But that was white noise to me. I was focused, intent, on the action right before my eyes.

Too intent, it turned out. Because before I was aware of what was going on, a queenly platinum-blonde woman in tight black satin stepped in front of me. She gripped my chin in her hand and forced me to face her. I tried to pull away, wanting to watch now as Jack dropped the flogger and reached for a crop. Some other little minion nearby undid Alex’s belt and dropped his slacks. And oh, I wanted to see that.

The woman, displeased that I had not paid her proper attention slapped my cheek hard and I broke from my daze.

“Jack’s asked me to take care of you,” she explained, her voice cold. “While he’s busy.”

I nodded, quickly, trying to catch up with the script that seemed to be moving at fast forward. Alex was groaning. Not loudly, butt loud enough for me to hear. I really wanted to know was what Jack was saying to him. The burn of jealousy intensified, and I would have wept had the lady before me not forced my focus on her deep green eyes. Fake green, I saw immediately. Too emerald to be true.

To my horror, she released the cuffs and the bindings holding me in place. She was going to take me somewhere else, somewhere away from Jack. I pulled back from her immediately. No thought of what might happen. No consideration of who she was, who she might be. I could not leave Jack and Alex by themselves—even if they were “by themselves” in a room of people. I wanted to see how Jack touched Alex afterwards. Would he be gentle with him? Would he wrap Alex in his arms? That thought made me want to double over, my stomach clenched.

The woman was not someone to mess with. I should have understood that by the fact that she’d slapped my face within seconds of “meeting” me. She gripped my hair in her hand and pulled back, hard, and in seconds, she had assistants at her side, two men who crowded close to me. They didn’t touch me. But their sheer size was intimidating. I looked from her to the men and then back to her again.

“Jack has asked that we take care of you,” she said, and her voice was lulling now, as if she intended to quiet me, the way you’d soothe a spooked animal. “Will you come on your own?”

I looked at the men, looked through the gap between them to Jack and Alex, and I felt myself digging in my heels. Quite literally. I was going nowhere until Jack told me to. They could drag me out, and I’d cause a scene, and maybe that’s what people around here lived for, but I’d take that risk.

“Jack has to tell me that himself,” I said, and I saw a glimmer of something in the woman’s faux jewel eyes. A flicker of understanding. She touched one of the men’s shoulders and nodded, and he headed over to where Jack was now methodically cropping Alex. I could see the marks, the welts, and I felt a shudder work through me.

There was a hushed conversation out of my earshot, and then Jack leaned against Alex once more, and I knew in my head he was promising pain, more pain, in a moment. Then Jack was at my side, and the lady and her enforcers gave us space. “They’re to get you ready for me,” he said. “Don’t worry so much.”

Kayelle Allen (@kayelleallen) Talks Tales of the Chosen

Thank you for the opportunity to share background on the Tales of the Chosen and other books set in the Tarthian Empire. When I created the concept, I decided to do full scale world building, and even did a layout of TarthCity. I used the map as my desktop background while I wrote. It helped me keep track of everyone as went go from place to place. If you look, you’ll notice West is at the top. That’s because when I first sketched the drawing, it seemed natural to put the starport there, then Top Tier (an upscale shopping district in Tarth City), then the vast park that runs thru the entire city. Below that are the business district, and other areas where the action takes place.

totcset-anicov200Once it was finished and all the layers were complete, I realized I had forgotten to add the symbol for direction – N, S, E, W. That’s when it dawned on me that several times when I’d mentioned characters seeing the starport, it was to the West. Which meant the map had West at the top. I’d spent days working on the detailed layers of this map in Photoshop and the idea of re-doing it… Well, it boggled my brain.

So I fixed the problem by saying that “Tradestandard” (the measurements which Empress Destine Pietan had required on all planets in the empire) declared that all maps should orient with West at the top. In other words, I blamed it on one of my characters. As Paul Harvey would say, “And now you know the rest of the story.”

My site also has Imperinet http://kayelleallen.com/Imperinet.html — a mock up of the empire’s Imperial Internet service. Almost all the businesses have “real” websites you can visit. Top Tier, an exclusive shopping area in Tarth City, has its own cool site too. http://kayelleallen.com/toptier.html

The best way to see the empire is to stop in at The Tarthian Tour Company and take a click-through tour. When I started this, my son was in college studying graphic design, so I recruited him to do art and design the planets. They’re amazing, and have won art awards over the years. Hidden around the site are links to find the empire’s rebels – look for little icons that seem out of place, and point to them. If they tell you to “Trust the Sleeper” be wary. A few take you to the hidden rebel base, and others to an Armada trap! You can download wallpaper here. http://kayelleallen.com/Wallpaper.html Have fun exploring the site.

An Interview with Tabitha Rayne (@tabithaerotica)

I’m delighted to welcome another of the Brit Babes to my site. The lovely Tabitha Rayne is here to dish the dirt on herself, her writing and her obsession with Tom Hardy. Enjoy…

Taking FlightTell us about yourself. Both your writing self and your non-writing self. What are your interests and hobbies? Do you have a day job, etc?

Well Lucy-Loo I live midway between a town and the countryside – I’m an outdoorsy gal so get very claustrophobic if I have to be hemmed in between buildings for too long. I go running to clear my head and sort out any plot tangles. I love burlesque and have a huge collection of corsets, boas and pasties! 😉

I do indeed have a day job to fund my writing habit! I didn’t used to – when I started to get published, I assumed that my career would be writing. But alas, it wasn’t so… one day perhaps. It’s the dream of many a writer, I guess, that writing be their sustenance both physically and spiritually. I wouldn’t ever stop writing though – my sanity depends on it.

Give us the background on your latest release.

My latest release is Taking Flight – the 2nd book in The Meeting Point trilogy. I guess my inspiration is linked to my love of the wild – I think it combines my 3 obsessions – sex (mais bien sur!), the apocalypse and spirituality (our own inner selves). I like to think of it as an action adventure trilogy – saving the world one bonk at a time! There’s a bit more to it than that, of course – it’s quite a spiritual book – delving into how sex unites us on more than the physical level and how we can transcend our worries, fears and guilt by letting go and feeling the love… 😀

How did you get started with writing? And what was your route to publication like?

I have always written stories but my real first love was painting. I always thought (and possibly still do) of myself as an artist. Though I realised the pictures I was creating just didn’t match the images I had in my mind. It was extremely frustrating and disappointing. It was when I started to think of words as an artistic medium that I began to ‘paint’ the pictures accurately. Does that make sense? Probably sounds totally pretentious but it’s the best way I can describe how I work!

I’ve had things published in different genres under different names but it was only when I started writing erotica that I really felt in my element. It has been the most successful genre for me in terms of publication and satisfaction. I was worried that my work would be too filthy to publish and kept it hidden for a few years until I started reading some books by my fellow Brit Babes especially Kd Grace at the time and some others – Justine Elyot, Lisabet Sarai – that I realised that my particular brand of naughty was indeed not too filthy! 😉 In fact, I really ought to ramp it up! Isn’t that right Lucy 😉

What are you currently working on?

I’m currently working through edits for the final book in my Meeting Point trilogy, Finding Unity. I am also determined to finish a novel I started writing last year called The Baker’s Wife – it’s completely different from the trilogy as it is set in the real world on a cruise liner in the 50s. Even so, I guess the same internal battles will be fought in the mind’s of my characters and let’s be honest – it will all be worked out by some sex and a spanking or two…

Do you have a particular Muse for your writing? Do any of your characters bear startling resemblances to sexy celebrities or people you admire?

My muse is my A – my partner of like, a million years! A constant source of inspiration. My Sailor Riply. I watched Wild at Heart when I was about 14 or something and watched it again recently… still my fave – I think my writing is inspired a lot by emotional intensity like in that film. There’s loads of celebs I drool over… wanna list? Christian Bale, Sam Rockwell, Lady Ga Ga, Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal – (are they related?) Tom Hardy, Jack White, Peaches, Lana Del rey… the list goes on and on!

Where do you see yourself in five years? Both writing-wise and non-writing-wise?

Well, I hope to be sipping margaritas at the beach hut with the Brit Babes being gently fanned with palm fronds by some of the people mentioned above…

Seriously though… I don’t have a five year plan – I’m a complete fly by the seat of my pants kinda gal. I do love learning new skills though – last year I tried surfing and high(ish) diving and I’m determined to learn how to backflip on a trampoline.

As for writing – I will have to see where the muse takes me. Though one of my biggest achievements this year was hosting a book launch and actually reading my filthy words out loud! I might like to try that again as I do love facing my fears and having an excuse to party. But I really ought to get more of these books sold – that would be a plan indeed.

And now for some silly questions…

Muscled or skinny? Muscled

Tall or short? Tall

Boxers or briefs? Neither

Moustache or beard? Moustache – with a sprinkling of beard too – and that’s just the ladies…

Long hair or shaven head? Long hair

Tattoos or piercings? Nah

Intelligent or funny? Don’t they go hand in hand?

Blond, brunette or red head? Brunette

Hottest celebrity (tell us why, if you like)? I’m into Tom Hardy right now and Lana Del Rey

Top same-sex crush (or opposite sex if you already like same-sex!) See above!

Most disliked celebrity (tell us why, if you like) – I’m not saying

Favourite food – chilis, dates and liquorice all mixed together

Favourite book (tell us why, if you like) – Oh Lucy – you’re torturing me with these questions! I couldn’t choose a book! Good grief… The Arrival by Shaun Tan perhaps? I’m desperate to read The Lost Girls by Alan Moore and Melinda Gebbe. And choosing a favourite erotica book is like choosing a favourite sister or best friend… come on now…!

Favourite place in the world (tell us why, if you like) – my bed – wherever that may be. I do love Poland and Italy and everywhere I’ve ever been. You may realise I cannot pin something as my favourite anything! There’s just too much stuff to love!

Anything else you’d like to add? Love is everything.

Yes ma’am! I liked that bossy tone right there 😉

“Find me at the meeting point. We are more than the physical.”

Four generations from now, toxins are ravaging the land and the future of mankind is in peril. The surviving men are being rounded up and taken to holding facilities. Research scientist, Dr Deborah Regan is hoping to stabilise the decreasing male population before her lover, Marcus becomes one of those taken away.

When the authorities come looking for Marcus, Deborah abandons her research to go on the run with her lover. They flee to the forests where they stumble across a couple who are intent on finding an ultimate sexual union where at the point of climax their spirits break free from their bodies and unite. Plunged into a life of lust and survival, Deborah soon realises she can easily slip into this trancelike state and she and Marcus set out to create a transcendent bond of their own. Can they achieve the ultimate unity before fate separates them for good?

An erotic dystopian fantasy following a young couple trying to elude capture and separation.

The prequel to A Clockwork Butterfly.

In a dying world – is love the only means of true survival?

Excerpt -This is from a part of the story where my leading lady has voiced her desire to be tied up in the forest…

Anyone could find her here, bandits, guards … She tried to rationalise her fear but her physiology took over, flooding her senses with fight or flight cortisones. The sensation started in her chest and swelled and radiated to every cell, making her soar above herself and stare down at the sight of a naked, dishevelled forest nymph, bound and hanging. The imagined sight made her part her legs and bear down, catching her arousal in her abdomen and forcing it into her pussy, where she tried to focus all the energy that was threatening to send her out of control. It took all her concentration to keep everything centred there – all her fear, desire, lust, euphoria – but she knew it was essential, somehow.

A sharp crack snapped her back to the reality of her situation again; someone was close. She tensed every sinew. Alert and staring, Deborah scoured her surroundings. Something moved in the shrubbery. It darted like an animal, low and erratic, as if cornered, but it didn’t add up. She strained her senses in its direction and tried to catch the scent on the barely breathing breeze. Human. Shuddering, she could feel her body expand to a vast canvass of nakedness. The nasal breathing of someone staring hard at the object of their intent filled her ears. Deborah gripped the strapping on each wrist tight and tensed her muscles in a way that she hoped would alert the watcher to her strength in this situation, not her vulnerability. Her skin flushed with warmth under the scrutiny of the shadowy, hidden figure. They stared at each other; she completely exposed and he – she could smell it was a he – completely obscured. There was a strange control conundrum going on in Deborah’s head: as long as he kept himself hidden and meek, she felt like she was holding the power. She let this thought roll around in her psyche and was amazed to feel her body relax and melt into this newfound confidence. Letting the ropes take her weight, she hung a little, shifting her feet apart and opening her legs to share her wet treasure with the voyeur.

Tiny snippet

“If we part ways,” he started but Deborah pressed a finger to his lips, she didn’t want to hear it, speaking it might make it true. He pushed her hand from his face and held it at his chest, his woozy gaze fixed on hers. “Deborah, if we part ways, I’ll find you. I’ll find you at the meeting point. Do everything you can to come. We are more than the physical.”
