Hello and welcome to the Summer Reads Blog Hop! I’m definitely a summer person – I like the sunshine, the longer days, the warmth… so I’m sure I’d like California, which is where one of my latest releases, Sweet Spot is set. I’ve never been, but hopefully I’ll get there one day – just got to sell enough books 🙂

You would like California, but let me warn you–especially in northern California, it’s not as hot out as you’d think! (Bring a sweater for foggy mornings…)

If you come to SOUTHERN California, you will love the weather. Hot during the day and warm at night. Lots of nice cool beaches to hang out on (like Venice beach), wonderful restaurants right on the water with good food and drinks, sailing, wind surfing, paddle boarding, biking, skating, etc. (All on the boardwalk from Venice beach to Santa Monica Pier.) Lots to see and do.
