Welcome back to Mid Week Tease! I was away on holiday last week so didn’t take part, but I’m back with a vengeance! 😉 My latest novel, Eyes Wide Open, released yesterday (squeeeee!) so I’m delighted to share a snippet of it with you guys. It’s a M/M/F BDSM erotic romance, set in London.

Eyes Wide OpenJust about to chastise herself for allowing her thoughts to meander so, she suddenly realized she was on to something. Closing her eyes and grabbing hard onto the trail of the train of thought she’d just been pursuing, she tugged it back into the forefront of her mind.

Yes! She opened her eyes. That was it. That was her angle. The wording would need work, serious refinement, but the basic idea was there. Treat yourself to a once-in-a-lifetime stay in the ultimate luxury hotel. Enjoy rooms, spaces and facilities fit for royalty.

Typing the snippet into the tablet’s note-taking app before she forgot it, she grinned. It was good—really good. Once polished up, expanded on and worked into press releases, sound bites, competition copy and advertorial copy, she was sure it would result in lots of coverage, not to mention bring in plenty of guests. The concept might even be used in TV, magazine and radio advertising. Now that would be seriously cool—a way for her to be famous, without being famous—her idea, her baby, up in lights!

Tapping in a few more notes, she saved her progress, then stopped to take a drink of the delicious fruit juice. It was then that she noticed that she wasn’t quite as secluded in her corner as she had been before. Two businessmen had settled down two tables away. Nothing unusual in that, except that as she allowed her gaze to linger on them, she quickly realized that they were, in fact, a little out of the ordinary. The majority of the businessmen and women she saw here were middle-aged or older, which made sense. They’d had longer to climb the career ladder, achieve higher positions, earn more money and therefore attend meetings or stay over in places such as the Totally Five Star.

These two, however, looked like they had less than a decade on her—late twenties, possibly early thirties. And the thing that made them the most unusual was the fact that they were hot. A subtle glance around the room showed her that she wasn’t the only woman who’d noticed them, either.

Her eyelids fluttered slightly at the blow, and she clenched her teeth so hard that she feared her jaw would pop, but she didn’t make another sound.

Jeremy stroked her hair. ‘Good girl. I told you you could do it.’ He slipped his other hand down and rearranged himself in the crotch area.

My Sexy Saturday

I stumbled over the word—not because I was horrified. Quite the opposite, in fact. Being fucked by two hot guys at once had long been on my sexual bucket list—a list that, since meeting Ace, had had items checked off it at a rate of knots. I was going to have to start thinking of some more shit to put on it. I was way too young to have completed my bucket list—sexual or not—for Christ’s sake!

Welcome back to Mid Week Tease! Here’s another snippet from my recently-released M/F/M paranormal erotic short story, Sated. I hope you enjoy the tease – it follows on directly from last week’s. This will be the last snippet from this story, though, as I’m on holiday next week, and the following week, my latest novel releases, so it’ll be all about that for a while! 😉

SatedI swatted him on the arm. “I’m eager for you, now, you idiot. Now go make that damn phone call, then get back here and fuck me, pronto.”

Pulling away with a grin, Ace nodded. “All right, sugar, I’m going. Why don’t you get your gorgeous brown ass naked and on the bed?” He pointed unnecessarily to our huge bed. “I will be back soon.”

Rolling my eyes at his use of the phrase ‘brown ass’, I nevertheless did as he asked. In spite of his years on the planet, and the relative amount of experience, it was a constant source of fascination for him to compare our skin tones. His pale, typical British coloring—though there’s nothing else remotely typical about him—and my much darker skin, courtesy of my Indian parents. It had earned me many pet names and amusing endearments, which he added to all the time, so I never knew what he was going to come out with next. He did seem to favor ‘brown ass’ however, which he proved when he walked back into the room several moments later.

It was only when Ethan stepped away from her again that she knew it was time. The handle of the tool he was employing on this occasion was so long that if he stood right behind her and administered it, he’d smack her head and probably Jeremy’s too. And that would never do. She heard a couple more swoops through the air, a pause, then the next swing landed on her naked skin. The surface of the unknown implement was so large it reached both her buttocks at the same time, and the rattan material of which it was made left one hell of a sting in its wake, though it took a second or two to register.

She let out an anguished yell and flung her head back, narrowly missing head-butting Jeremy as she moved.
He cupped her face in his hands and gave her a reassuring smile. ‘Come on, Alice, you can do this, you know you can. I’ve long thought there was a much better use for a carpet beater than its intended one, and you’re helping to prove my theory correct.’
