Winter Spanks: Cold Hands, Warm Bottoms

Brought to you by Spanking Romance Reviews & The Saturday Spankings Blog!

Thank you for joining us for Winter Spanks! Let’s warm up with some hot bottoms & cool prizes! Read on for a chance to win:

Welcome to the Winter Spanks: Cold Hands, Warm Bottoms blog hop! When I first signed up, I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to write about, because although I’ve written winter-themed stories and spanking stories, I haven’t yet combined the two. I must be honest, I’m really not a fan of the cold weather, not one little bit. I dislike being cold, dislike snow and ice, and am hoping for a lottery win so I can buy a house in Australia and live there for several months of the year! Knowing this, it’s probably no surprise to you that one of my favourite books that contains spanking is actually set in California in the summer. I’m sure you’ll forgive me for the lack of cold hands when you  meet Travis Connolly – a character in Grand Slam, a BDSM novel co-authored by myself and Lily Harlem. Here’s a spanking snippet.

I’d tip her off another time. Right now I was going to turn that beautiful arse bright red, and then who knew what would happen afterward? Something good, I hoped.

I looked around the room, giving myself a few seconds to get into the right frame of mind for what I was about do. Everyone else was immersed in their own activities, no one had even appeared to notice us enter. Perfect.

I stroked the dip of her back. This was supposed to be a punishment, but on the other hand, Marie was a total newbie and I didn’t want to scare her off to the extent that she’d pull out of our sexual arrangement.

Ooh, yum! 😀

So, now you’ve enjoyed some of Travis and Marie’s sexy adventures, onto the prizes. In keeping with the winter theme, I’m giving away a copy of my shifter story, Reindeer Games: Cupid, which is actually set at this time of year. So there’s cold and ice… but no spanking! Damn, I really need to write a winter spanking story, don’t I? 😉 *adds to list*

Celebrate the New Year with a 30% Rebate!

Hi everyone,

Happy New Year – hope you had fantastic fun celebrations! Here’s to an awesome 2014. Mine got off to a great start with an acceptance email last night, and as I have a Henry Cavill calendar on my wall for this year, I’m always going to have something delicious to look at 😉

Here’s another way to celebrate and heat up those brand new eReaders (and the old ones, too!) – Ellora’s Cave titles on All Romance eBooks currently have a 30% rebate for January.

So you can bag A Taste of London, A Taste of Paris, Grand Slam, Mean Girls and Illicit Relations with a 30% rebate. How cool is that?!

I also noticed that Grand Slam and Mean Girls appear to be reduced on Amazon, too. I’m not sure why, but hey, if you haven’t got these books already, go grab ’em while they’re cheap! I do love a bargain 😀

Happy New Year, and Happy Reading!

Sunday Snog – Illicit Relations

Sunday Snog

Illicit RelationsIt’s time for another Sunday Snog and more tantalising lip action from my brand new release, Illicit Relations, a m/m erotic romance novella. It was just published by Ellora’s Cave as part of their Boys Will Do Boys series. Enjoy!

“Who cares? We’ve got lots of lost time to make up for, haven’t we? I think we should start right now. So if you agree, kiss me.”

“With pleasure.” Terry reached up and pushed his fingers into Justin’s thick blond hair—it was just as soft as he’d always imagined—and used it to pull the other man’s head down to his. Immediately their lips sought one another and Terry allowed himself to be carried away on waves of bliss as he kissed the man he was in love with. Even better, the man who loved him back.

He could still hardly believe it. But he’d have to get used to it quickly, as he had to find room in his brain, in his emotions, to come to terms with the fact that he was adopted. Then he had to speak with Justin about coming out together. The way he’d imagined it so many times, without being able to figure out if the family would be happy, indifferent or disgusted. His mum and dad were okay with it, though, and that was all that really mattered. They were the most important.

He shoved all such thoughts from his brain and just concentrated on the present. He moved his hands and mouth at the same time—his hands to roam up and down Justin’s muscular back, albeit over his T-shirt, and his mouth to wander down his jaw, covered with blond fuzz, and to tease and nibble the delicate skin of his throat.

You can get your hands on Illicit Relations here.

Also, don’t forget to head back to Blissekiss and see what other luscious lip to lip action other authors have posted. Yum!

2013 Round Up!

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and are looking forward to fun New Year celebrations. While I am looking forward to 2014 and what it will bring, I’d also like to reflect on 2013 and what I achieved. I don’t often blow my own trumpet, so it’s cool to remind myself of what I’ve done. Here are a few highlights, in no particular order:

My total publication count was 30, which includes print and eBooks. This is the same total as last year, but I’m definitely not beating myself up over that, because I’ve had much longer stuff released and have been working on more novellas and novels. I also don’t count reprints.

I also totted up my word count. This includes works not yet finished or submitted, as well as published works, and I achieved a whopping 377,041 words this year. I’m very proud of that, especially since I don’t write full-time, and I don’t even write every day.

Here’s a photo of the paperbacks I’ve been in this year – click the image to enlarge.

All in all, it’s been an awesome 2013! I already have books lined up for 2014 so it’s already off to a promising start. I’m looking forward to it.

Happy New Year!

More About the Calendar Men Project

christmas promo cal menHi everyone,

If you stopped by here or at ARe Cafe on Christmas Day (and if you didn’t, the link is here), you’ll know there was an exclusive reveal of a very exciting multi-author project.

Calendar Men is something that’s been in the pipeline for several months. Basically, there are twelve authors taking part, and each of us was assigned a month. We were to write an erotic romance novella set in that month, and what links each story is a charity calendar, in which our sexy male leads appear. Each book will release on the first day of the corresponding month. Decadent Publishing is the publisher.

I got June, so my story, The Other Brother, is set in June, as you may expect, in New York City. I’ve never been, so it took an awful lot of research to put the story together, but I think it was worth it. Thank God for Google Maps!

Here’s the blurb, and an another exclusive for you… the cover! Hot or what?! 😀

Photographer Melodie Carr moved to New York City to escape and make a fresh start. Her soldier fiancé was killed in a friendly-fire incident in Iraq, and she has been struggling to come to terms with it ever since. She still feels strongly about needless death and those left behind, so when she sees a call for photographs for a calendar of topless men, with profits going to the Fallen Warriors Family Fund, she’s eager to help out. Unfortunately, she doesn’t know any men that fit the profile, so she gives up on the idea. That is, until Patrick Brogan—her late fiance’s brother—turns up in New York. Seeing him brings up all kinds of memories, but she’s determined to push them aside and be friends with Patrick. She also realizes he’d be perfect for the calendar. But can she persuade him to take part?

For more information on the other authors and their books,  head over to the Calendar Men blog. We’re all very excited about this project, especially since book one, Outback Dirty, by JoAnne Kenrick will be available in a matter of days!

Happy Reading,

Lucy x
