Dirty DomsNodding, John replied, “Yep. Told you she’s an enigma. You wouldn’t really put those two things together, would you? But in her case, they’re two sides of the same coin. She’s multi-talented, is Zoe.”

“Hmm…” He inched closer to the open door to see if he could get another glimpse of her. “Two sides of the same coin…” he said thoughtfully. “A beauty and a badass. I think I might be in love!”

John chuckled and clapped him on the shoulder. “Yeah, well, good luck with that one.”

Something in John’s tone struck a chord with Alexei. He frowned. “What do you mean? Oh God, please don’t tell me she’s married, or a lesbian.”

Wrinkling his nose, John shook his head. “Nope, not married. And nah, don’t think she’s into women, either. Though if she was, I wouldn’t mind watching. Lesbians are hot.”

“Agreed. But that didn’t answer my question.”

“You didn’t ask one.”

“Oh for fuck’s sake, you know what I mean!”

“All right, all right.” John held his hands up. “Keep your bloody hair on. No, she’s not married, or a lesbian. But I don’t think you’ve got a cat in hell’s chance, either. In all the time I’ve known her, I’ve never seen her with anyone, heard her talk about anyone, you get the picture. And it certainly isn’t because no one’s interested in her. I mean, look at her. So I reckon she’s just super-picky.”

Alexei glared. “What, and I look too much like Quasimodo, do I?”

Smirking, John replied, “Hey, don’t shoot the messenger. You asked the question, I answered it. Looks and unusual mix of professions aside, she’s a really nice girl. Get talking to her, find out for yourself. Prove me wrong.”

Wondering why he was getting so defensive about a girl he’d never actually met or spoken to, Alexei gave a determined nod. “Oh, don’t worry, mate. I intend to.”

Laura Troxell was a Craegin woman who had everything in place for a long and loving life. She was engaged to the man of her dreams, had a brother that adored her and a position she absolutely loved. Well, that was until her world fell apart and the truth about her brother and fiancé came to light. Dumping her ex had her taking a nice long trip on a pleasure cruise around the Craegin universe, including traveling close to the neutral zone with Imarian space. It was thrilling and fun all in one. It was a non-stop party until someone decided to dump her like the proverbial trash, thankfully they, at least, dumped her in a life pod instead of just shoving her out of an airlock.

Chevon von Janus was a man who held his duty to train the next soldiers very seriously. He was a man that was a stickler for the rules, even when it came to an unknown life pod coming toward them from the neutral zone. Everything went by the letter in saving whoever was in the pod, he just never expected for the person to be a woman, a Craegin woman at that, but more than anything he hadn’t expected her to be his soul bonded mate. Talk about a surprise to the by the books commander.

The combustion between the two was felt immediately. However Laura had another secret to tell him, one that she was certain the Craegin’s wouldn’t want the Imarian’s to know about and when she did it certainly did heat up the war that was already sizzling between their peoples.

Chevon first has to keep Laura safe from his crew and then he has to work with old friends to figure out how to keep all of them safe. Life was going to get very interesting for these two very quickly. But no one ever said that love was easy, at least not when you were from two different cultures, cultures that happened to be at war.

Good thing that they had such amazing friends ready to go to the mat for them or their love would never know the light of day.

He didn’t wait for her to change her mind. Lust and longing surged through him and he stood, pulling her up into his arms. She fell against him with a cry that ignited Wolf’s fiercest feelings. He didn’t just want to kiss her. He wanted her. Wanted to claim her, wanted to make it plain to everyone and anyone that Clea Allary was his, still, now, and always.

He took her mouth roughly, running his hands down her back to cup her ass and pull her in hard against him. She clutched at his t-shirt, grabbing handfuls of it as if it was the only thing holding her up, and she whimpered his name against his lips. It drove him wild. That little sound was like a jolt of adrenaline, and it traveled directly to his cock, hardening him almost to the point of pain.

Their kiss was hard, desperate, almost a battle of wills, as if Clea was eager to stamp her ownership on him too. She shoved her hands under his t-shirt, raked her nails down his back. Wolf hivered in pleasure and squeezed her ass in answer. She writhed against him, nibbling at his lips. The feel of her hands on his bare skin was too much for Wolf. He tried to push his hands down the back of her jeans, but they were skin-tight and he broke away from the kiss with a curse. Clea laughed at him.

“Giving up already?” Her eyes sparkled with amusement and desire.

Wolf brushed her hair back from her face, drinking in that look. His heart swelled and his entire body ached with need for her. He’d never thought he’d get that look from her again. “Never again. Not when it comes to you.” He reinforced his words with another kiss, then gave her a gentle push, forcing her to sit back down on the bed.

Once again he knelt before her, hands gliding up and down her thighs as he studied her face. Her cheeks were flushed, her lips invitingly swollen from his kisses. Her breasts heaved under the t-shirt he’d given as she caught her breath. He didn’t plan to let her recover so soon, but he wanted to be sure before he did anything else that she knew there was no turning back now.

“Tell me you want this,” he said. “I can’t walk out of here, do what I have to do, without taking a piece of you with me.”

She licked her lips, a nervous gesture, and he wondered if she’d still do it if she knew it made him want to jump on her. For a second he thought she’d turn him away – and he would have gone, but damn, it would have been agony to do it. Then she smiled coyly and asked, “Which piece?”

It’s been a little while since I’ve taken part in Saturday Spankings, which is where authors post eight-ish sentences of a spanking on their blogs. Personal circumstances have affected my writing output in recent months, but I’m working hard to get back up to speed, and I have a brand spanking new (see what I did there? *sniggers*) story called The Beauty and the Badass coming out as part of the Dirty Doms boxed set on 28th June. You can pre-order it now for just 99c/99p! This is a snippet from early on in the story, so there’s no spanking just yet, but it gives you some set up. It follows on from last week’s.

It was made all the more attractive by the price – around half of what the more traditional gyms wanted in membership fees. And he only had to pay when he actually attended. He wasn’t sure yet how much working away his new job was going to entail, but it still made more sense to use a place that had a pay-as-you-go system. At least until he got settled.

They passed a reception desk of sorts, which looked like somewhere the building’s owner probably did the admin and accounts. After that, there was a row of seating up against the wall on their right hand side, and the space opened up on their left.

Love on Location German Translation Now Available!
