Illicit Activity by J.R. Gray (@booksbygray)

illicitactivityBlurb:

The Christmas season is fast approaching for Jesse Goldmen and George Sirus, and their forced break up weighs heavily on their sanity. Trying to keep a connection alive is almost impossible as they turn to stolen late night dinners and secret meetings, which never seem enough.

Zac Goldmen takes an interest in George’s slave, Elliot. Being told no only makes Zac want Elliot more, so he starts a ridiculous campaign to try and shock and charm Elliot into bed. But his advances are put on hold when Elliot gets outed in the aftermath of the blackmail scandal, causing a big media storm for him and his father the Vice President.

Kennedy seeks solace from Zac, when things just get too much for her, bringing out his hidden caring side. Zac finds himself torn between being a friend and an easy hook up. Determined to see Elliot and bring him some holiday spirit, Zac starts a battle of wits with George. Will George be able to outsmart Zac, and keep him away from Elliot, for long?

Excerpt:

The doorbell rang early in the morning. Elliot had finished his chores and was sitting on the floor next to the fire, working on his homework. There was no one else in the penthouse, and he wasn’t expecting anyone. When he wrenched open the heavy, ornate door he found Zac, Jesse’s brother, staring back at him wearing fireman pants and suspenders to hold them up. His body was smeared with charcoal, and he looked oiled. Elliot was entirely confused.

“The exact face I wanted to see.”

“Can I help you, Sir?” Elliot reverted to his training.

“Yes, I have a hose that needs servicing.” Zac grinned wickedly.

Elliot tried not to let the shock show on his face. “I’m sorry, the King is out. Can I take a message?” He shifted and squirmed, getting flustered at the seeming advance from the beautiful redhead.

“I didn’t want it from him.” The bulge in Zac’s pants was noticeable, and Elliot tried not to stare. “And I knew he was gone.”

“How did you know he was gone?”

“I watched his car through the camera I installed above his parking space ‘til it left.” He flattened out his mouth and raised both brows like it was no big deal.

Elliot stared.

Author Bio

When not staying up all night writing, J.R Gray can be found basking in the warm glow of the Miami sun, or at the gym where it’s half assumed Gray is a permanent resident. A dominant, pilot, and sword fighting enthusiast, Gray finds it hard to be in the passenger seat of any car. Gray frequently interrupts real life, including normal sleep patterns, to jot down nonsense. The bane of Gray’s existence are commas, and even though it’s been fully acknowledged they are necessary, they continue to baffle and bewilder.

If Gray wasn’t writing…well, that’s not possible. The buildup of untold stories would haunt Gray into an early grave or possibly a mental institution where the tales would end up on the walls in crayon and finger paint.

Fifth Day of Celebrations for Stately Pleasures! #erotica #bdsm #romance #bbw #menage

spbirthdayHi everyone,

It’s the last day of the birthday celebrations. Awww 🙁 If you missed the previous posts, check them out hereherehere and here. If not, please read on…

Why Did I Write a Millionaire and BDSM Into Stately Pleasures

There are elements to Stately Pleasures that may make some roll their eyes, particularly with the way the erotic romance market is now. It’s got a millionaire and BDSM. Before you tut and sigh, though, this book is nothing like “that book,” nor is it intended to be. In fact, the idea came to me a long time before “that book” because famous.

Jeremy Davenport is a millionaire, yes. But it’s not mentioned explicitly in the book. In fact, his money is hardly mentioned at all, and isn’t part of the storyline, really, other than the fact he owns a stately home, which he inherited. This is not a book about a rich guy splashing his cash. And there are no helicopters involved.

The BDSM element is a major plot point. I can’t say too much because I’ll give the game away, but there is a touch of blackmail in this novel, and it involves domination, submission, spanking, bondage and lots more sexy kinky stuff. Which is ironic, really, considering I used to really dislike reading and writing BDSM. I used to steer well clear. But the more I write about it, the more fun I have exploring different avenues of my characters’ sexualities, sexual preferences and the kinky games they can play together. Now I genuinely enjoy it. I don’t write it into every book or story, but I don’t have a problem with it now and find it can add a whole new dimension to a tale. It all depends on my idea and whether the characters are right for it.

In Stately Pleasures, Alice, Jeremy and Ethan are most definitely right for BDSM and they have a great deal of orgasmic fun with it throughout!

To Rome with LustExcerpt:

‘People are looking. We should stop.’ Liza barely got the words out before he leaned in just a tiny bit further and, in his enthusiasm, his lips brushed hers. Everything spiked in a sharp stab of scent that settled right between her legs, as they both gasped and sat back, eyes wide, fingers pressed to lips. A flight to Paris was called over the intercom immediately after one to Frankfurt and, in the jostling and shifting and gathering of belongings, no one was paying any attention to them. Though she wasn’t sure it would have made any difference even if they’d suddenly been center stage. Their gaze locked on each other, cheeks flushed, chests heaving, they sat locked in a moment so tight, so full that its breaking apart was inevitable. It was ridiculous. She was seconds away from coming, and his cock was about to burst his trousers and his lips, my god his lips, she could think of so many places on her body she wanted those lips.

‘I have to know,’ he gasped. ‘Surely you want to know too.’ Then he did the unthinkable. He curled his fingers into the back of her hair and pulled her to him. This time their lips met with a clash of teeth and a gasping swallow of oxygen that transitioned into parted lips and darting tongues and an absolute explosion of scent. If he had smelled amazing by himself, if his scent had sharpened hers to the cutting edge of orgasm, then the mixing and blending that happened when they touched, when those two scents came together was shattering. ‘I’ve never smelled anything like it,’ she breathed into his mouth.

‘Me neither,’ He bit her lower lip and tugged and their blended smell became darker, more spicy, tones of earth and sea, pepper and honey and my god the guy could kiss!

She came first with a guttural grunt that began deep in her center and washed over her like a riptide. She tried desperately to hide it, but he knew it. He felt it, she even thought he smelled it, and he tightened his fist in her hair, breathing her into his open mouth. Both his hands then slid to her shoulders in a grip that was almost painful as he pulled back, his gaze locked on hers, and his whole body convulsed, and again, and again, his deep mocha gaze holding her tight as pupils dilated and eyelids shuddered.

For a moment they sat stunned, staring at each other, struggling to catch their breath. He looked shell-shocked, and she must have looked at least as bad. ‘I’m sorry,’ they both said at the same time as they mirrored each other in a nervous laugh.

Then the intercom called the flight to Rome. ‘That’s my flight,’ she gasped, suddenly awash in a wave of embarrassment. She grabbed her bag and her laptop and fled, feeling certain everyone was watching, feeling certain everyone knew exactly what they had done. She left quickly, babbling on about duty free and gifts, sounding like a total idiot. It didn’t matter though, at the end of the day, she’d never see the man again. And she’d never smell him again. That saddened her.

Saturday Spankings #33 – #SatSpanks

Saturday Spankings-467x200Hi everyone,

It’s time for another Saturday Spankings, which is where authors post eight-ish sentences of a spanking on their blogs. I’m including another snippet from erotica anthology, Multi-Orgasmic. It follows on directly from last week’s. Enjoy!

Taking advantage, he slanted his mouth over hers and kissed her with all the need and arousal he was experiencing, hoping like hell she wouldn’t decide he’d gone a step too far.

Thankfully, she didn’t. She returned the embrace, slipping her arms around his neck and kissing him back with a bruising ferocity. So it seemed she did like the pain. That was something clearly worth knowing. Their tongues brushed together, explored, tickled and fought until Jesse was dizzy with need. Pulling away, he gasped for air, then said, “Roxanne, I really need to fuck you, but I don’t have a condom.”

A coquettish smile taking over her lips, she replied, “It’s okay, I do.”

I hope you enjoyed that snippet! You can grab the book here (FREE for Kindle Unlimited members!). And then see the below list to hop to the other authors taking part…

My Sexy Saturday #52 – A Sexy Sleigh Ride #MySexySaturday

My Sexy Saturday

Welcome back to My Sexy Saturday. This is where writers post either 7 words, 7 sentences or 7 paragraphs from their published work or work in progress, sticking to the week’s theme. This week’s theme is a sexy sleigh ride (well, I got the sexy part right, anyway!). I’m sharing another snippet (following on from last week’s) from my story Love on Location, which appears in Brit Boys: On Boys, a M/M boxed set. It’s due for release on 30th December and is available for pre-order now. What’s more, the price will be increasing after release, so bag it at a bargain price now 😉 It’s already a bestseller at Amazon and All Romance eBooks!

Theo was vaguely aware that the rain was increasing in speed, creating a dull roar as the droplets drummed onto every surface they could reach.

The wind picked up, too, forcing the rain at an angle into their so-called shelter, making them wetter by the second.

None of that really made an impact, though. It was background noise—literally—to what was happening between him and Eddie. The other man’s reaction to his sudden movement had been wholly favourable, and the outside world had dissolved away as they became wrapped up in each other.

The coarseness of Eddie’s ginger hair against Theo’s fingers was in direct contrast with his lips, which were surprisingly soft and supple. And boy, did he know what to do with them. Theo had no idea what Eddie’s previous experience was, if any, but he was a mighty fine kisser.

Their bodies melded together, their wet clothes making squelching noises which were barely noticed as tongues duelled, teeth nibbled, hands wandered and cocks stiffened.

Theo felt as though his blood was rushing through his veins at a hundred miles an hour. It was exhilarating—all the tiny hairs on his body seemed to stand on end as his cells strained towards Eddie, aching to be closer.

Backing Eddie up to one of the bridge’s supporting walls, he crushed their bodies together once more, desperately wishing they were both completely naked, and also somewhere more private. Another part of him, though, felt that the moment, the time, the place and the situation were utterly perfect.

Fourth Day of Celebrations for Stately Pleasures! #erotica #bdsm #romance #bbw #menage

spbirthdayHi everyone,

The birthday celebrations continue! If you missed the previous posts, check them out herehere and here. If not, please read on…

Planning Stately Pleasures

As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, it took a while for me to make the jump from short stories to novellas, then from novellas to novels. I was worried that I didn’t have enough “story” to warrant a novel, or that it would get boring, or that I’d get bored.

But when the time came for me to start working on Stately Pleasures, I decided there was only one way to find out—I’d have to get on with it. With short stories, I never bother planning as they often just come from a small idea and I then write and see what happens. But this couldn’t be the case with a novel, I could end up meandering through a story, have no actual plot, or something equally horrendous. So, to ensure I wrote a full-length book which had plot, journeys for the characters, continuity and lots of hot sex, a plan was needed.

I know writers work in many different ways when it comes to planning, but I went back to being somewhat old-fashioned. In a brand new notebook (any excuse) I started scribbling. Then I shuffled things around, crossed things out, added things and finally had twenty (I think – I don’t have the notes any more) chapters planned out, with a beginning, a middle and a satisfying (I hope) ending.

Once that was done, I had no excuse. I had to get on with it—and so I did. It was much easier having the plan there, although I knew I wouldn’t stick to it 100%–if things changed it wasn’t an issue. It just meant that once I’d finished a chapter, I could look at the notebook and know exactly where the story was going next. There were no moments of indecision, of wondering what was going to happen next, how the characters were going to get from A to B, and why.

That’s not to say it wasn’t hard work. It was, very much so. I’d been used to being able to write a short story in a couple of days—a very quick and satisfying thing. A novel, of course, takes much longer, so the satisfaction of finishing is much further away. But far from being disheartened by this fact, I let it spur me on. Each word, each chapter I completed was another step closer to the end. And the more I wrote, the more I was determined to get it finished and not see the work I’d already done go to waste.

And, obviously, I got there! I think it took me roughly four months, which I don’t think was too bad considering that included the planning and a little extra research, and that it was my first full-length novel. I also don’t write full-time. I was very proud of my achievement, although I knew it wasn’t the end of the work! More information on Stately Pleasures’ route to publication in the next post.
