Mid Week Tease: “Gina was deeply in lust.” #MWTease

Hi everyone,

Welcome back to Mid Week Tease! This week, I’m sharing something new. This is a snippet from my short story, In the Frame, which appears in the charity anthology, An Intimate Education. All proceeds from this book go to Brook – a UK charity which provides support and advice on sex education and wellbeing to youngsters.

As soon as the teacher, lecturer, course leader—what did you call someone that was teaching a class for adults, anyway?—entered the room, all of Gina’s misgivings about signing up for the photography class disappeared. If the worst came to the absolute worst and she didn’t learn a damn thing, then at least she’d have enough fantasy fodder to keep her going for months.

He was gorgeous. Dressed in a smart casual manner, in dark blue jeans and a white t-shirt, along with funky Converse trainers, he’d got the outfit down. And the man inside the outfit was perfection, too. Shorter than her usual type, he made up for it with his slightly messy spiky black hair, startling blue-green eyes and scruff which clearly hadn’t decided whether it wanted to become a full on beard or not.

Gina was deeply in lust. And he hadn’t uttered a word yet.

When he did, her hormones ratcheted up.
