LifeStyles A:Muse Personal Pleasure MassagerDespite its relatively innocent name, the LifeStyles A:Muse Personal Pleasure Massager is far from it. This is one sweet-looking purple toy which really packs a punch!

It has five vibration types, each with three speeds, so there’s plenty to keep you busy right there! The A:Muse is great for playing with a partner, or alone. Its soft and smooth surface means that it’s perfectly suitable for massage, and equally fun for use on your more intimate areas.

It’s fairly quiet as vibrating toys go,  and only takes 2 x AAA batteries, which is amazing when you consider how powerful it is! It comes complete with a nice pouch, too.

Overall, I’d definitely say that the LifeStyles A:Muse Personal Pleasure Massager has more pluses than minuses – it’s versatile, powerful and super-orgasmic.

In fact, the only downside is that it was really difficult to get the cover off in order to get the batteries in. I followed the instructions to the letter and still struggled, resorting to a pair of scissors in the end (please don’t try this at home! 😉 ). So make sure you put the batteries in the toy well in advance of being ‘in the mood’ and you’ll be fine. Plus, the fun that’s to be had definitely makes it worth the trouble!

The Pet Shop is the second novel from K D Grace. Her first, The Initiation of Ms Holly was released to critical acclaim and gained her the title of ‘best-selling author’. Having read this book, I can see it going the same way.

The Pet Shop is the story of workaholic Stella James. She loves her job and works ridiculous hours, which naturally leaves little time for a social life, let alone a sex life. A throwaway comment in the office results in a gift from the big boss that will change her life forever.

Her present, far from being the gift vouchers she expected, is a pet. A human pet. Tino arrives from The Pet Shop complete with a mischievous grin and an erection. To begin with, Stella is completely taken aback and has no idea how to react. But after Tino is left in her care for the weekend, she starts to understand the attraction – both of keeping pets and being one.

Not long afterwards, another male appears in Stella’s life. Reclusive philanthropist Vincent Evanston is powerful, rich and gorgeous. And he just happens to bear a striking resemblance to Tino. A chance encounter in a forest leads Stella to believe that Vincent and Tino are one and the same. But as Tino can’t talk and Vincent won’t, she’s left guessing.

Stella becomes increasingly obsessed with both men and will stop at nothing until she gets the answers she craves. But when she’s got to the bottom of the mystery, will she like what she finds?

The Pet Shop is unlike anything I’ve ever read before. I’m not going to give anything away, but let’s just say the plot is incredibly clever and imaginative and you’ll be totally sucked into the world K D Grace has created. The sex is smoking hot, the storyline intriguing, and the whole thing is so brilliantly written that you’ll emerge from the end gasping for breath. This book is a whirlwind of fun and naughtiness perfect for erotica fans.

Seven Day Loan is Tiffany Reisz’s first release – and already she has a novel coming out later in the year. Having read this delicious Spice Brief, I can’t say I’m surprised. Not one bit.

This naughty tale is about submissive Eleanor. She is trained to do whatever her master commands her. So when he decides to ‘lend’ her to a friend for a week, she must acquiesce.

The friend in question, Daniel, has been a recluse since his wife’s death, and Eleanor’s lover thinks spending time with her will help him to come ‘back to life’, as it were. Daniel also happens to be a Dom, therefore Eleanor’s nature should be perfectly compatible with his.

Despite her initial misgivings, Eleanor warms to Daniel physically. However, she’s determined that her heart should continue to belong to her mysterious lover. But as she and her temporary Dom spend more time together, Eleanor begins to wonder what life would be like with the enigmatic Daniel. Will she cancel the ‘seven day loan’ and become Daniel’s indefinitely? Only one way to find out…

Seven Day Loan is a spectacular read. The writing is brilliant, the storyline fascinating, the characters deep and the sex dirty. My only complaint was that it ended – I could have happily whiled away many more hours with Daniel and Eleanor. Highly recommended.

Her FantasyHer Fantasy is a short naughty read from Saskia Walker. It tells the tale of Anya Reid, a woman who is finally on a date with the co-worker she’s fancied for ages. Things take a turn for the erotic when Warren asks her what her ultimate sexual fantasy is. A little taken aback, Anya’s mind and libido whirl out of control and she’s unsure how to answer. However, it appears that Warren already knows the answer and is perfectly willing to make it happen. And he does.

As Anya and Warren’s erotic games become more risque, Anya has reason to be cautious. She’s getting attached and wonders whether Warren wants her for her, or whether he’s just in it for the games. She doesn’t want it all to come crashing down around her ears, not now she’s got Warren where she wants him.

Her Fantasy is another delicious quickie read from Saskia Walker. As per usual, I’m left wanting more – I think these two characters could have a very interesting story to tell! So if you’re looking for a guaranteed steamy read, look no further. Saskia delivers the goods!

Rampant Rabbit Platinum Petite Just in time for Easter, those lovely peeps over at Ann Summers sent me a rabbit! Naturally, it’s the rampant kind, as opposed to the sort you’d keep in a cage.

The Rampant Rabbit Platinum Petite has been a long time coming (if you’ll pardon the pun), if you ask me. For a while now new rabbits have been released which have been bigger and better than the last. But what about the girls that wanted smaller ones? Well, Ann Summers have definitely come through with their new petite range.

This particular model is an inch shorter and a quarter of an inch smaller in girth than the Rampant Rabbit Touch. But although it’s smaller, it certainly still packs a punch! With 11 vibrating functions and a 3 speed rotating shaft, there’s still plenty to keep you happy. It takes 3 AAA batteries and is also waterproof – bonus!

Overall, I was very impressed. The toy is still plenty powerful enough to do its job and it’s comfortable and completely non-threatening. I’d heartily recommend this to anyone who’d fed up of huge toys, or those looking to make their first vibrator purchase. It’s a great quality vibrator and is a pretty good price.

Sex Toy Review: Ann Summers Touch Shaft Vibrator

Ann Summers is pretty much Rampant Rabbit Central, so although rabbits are fab, it was nice to receive something different. And the Touch Shaft Vibrator is certainly that.

The idea of the toy is that you just switch it on, put it up ‘there’ and let it work its magic. As you can see from the above pic, there are three bands which are touch sensitive, so the deeper it goes, the more intense the vibrations. It’s cool, clever and waterproof. You’ll also need 4xAAA batteries.

The only downside is that its design means that it’s not ideal for clitoral stimulation as if the bands aren’t surrounded by something, they’re not activated. So even when its switched on, if you’re just holding the black part at the bottom, nothing happens. Of course you could hold the vibe in such a way that your hand activates it,  but it may not be the most comfortable.

This is a high quality, unique toy – but if you’re a clitoral orgasm kind of a gal, you might be better off sticking with a trusty rabbit.
