It was actually my birthday a few days ago, so Ella and I are both Leos 🙂 I went away for the weekend to the seaside. I walked on the beach, played 2p machines, visited a couple of National Trust properties and basically had fun. I also got soaked three times, I believe, as the heatwave England has been experiencing came to a halt in time for my birthday, grr! I had the usual presents, money, chocolate, a couple of pairs of shoes, some pyjamas. Shockingly, I had no toiletries for the first time in aaages! But no matter, I’ve still got some left from Christmas! As well as celebrating my birthday, I’ve been celebrating a couple of new releases. As a result, I’m running a cool giveaway. My favorite birthday was my 40th as I got my second favorite tattoo, a garter that goes around my leg with a derringer tucked in. My favorite is the tattoo I got for Mother’s Day, the birth flowers of my 5 boys in a half sleeve. But my most favorite birthday is my children’s. they are my world!

I like birthdays. I get to celebrate another year of being alive and having the love of my family and friends. If you look at it that way you will like your birthday too. I don’t care about receiving presents, but I am disappointed if I don’t receive a card. A card says to me that you went to the trouble of looking at all those cards and picking out something just for me. It means you thought enough about me to brave the stores for just the right card.
